Great addition to the sawmill and an effort saver. Thanks for watching.
Do you think the 10 year warranty by Generac is worth it, in your opinion.
It came with my purchase as a promotion. Haven't had to use it so hard question to answer. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Looks great!!!!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you - that was helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Larry, I’m having trouble finding a bracket that fits the JD mower deck. The hardware included with my deck adapter is not sufficient for either of my JD tractors, zero turn and 1025R. Where did you get yours? Is there a part number for the adapter/brackets?
The hardware I used came with the adapter and I had to use the piece of plywood to make work. I will look at the video again and see if I can explain it better. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
I've had my DR Pro 4 years now and it's a huge work and time saver each fall. Great machine. It turns our maple and oak leaves into confetti. I break it all down at the end the season to make storing it easier. The hardest part of putting it together again is stretching the enclosure enough to fit the inner frame. I've come up with self-made help tools to make that go a lot easier. My JD X354 has a bagger, and I am able to attach the DR to the bagger chute using a Fernco fitting thus avoiding the need to buy the DR deck adapter and alter it to fit the deck. If I have any complaint, it would be the OEM hose is not the highest quality. I think I got one full season out of it. I replaced it with a much better-quality hose and have had no issues since.
I hope this helps Matt. I agree on the hose. I have had to cut some splits out and will be replacing the entire hose soon. Looking for something that remain flexible long and does not split. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Are you related to BO NIX?
To remove the right side cover ONLY requires hex wrench. Do NOT remove the 10mm bolt. Checking the manual would have prevented that error.
bro the compression on your mic is distracting
Don't know what was going on with the audio. I know it was distracting. Constantly trying to improve the audio. Had to use an audio tool to even make it somewhat usable. Probably should have dubbed. Thanks for the comment.
I would have very serious concerns with the exhaust side directly at your gas meter.
Again, everything was installed by an authorized Generac Installer and I cannot feel any exhaust coming toward the meter. All necessary inspections were completed and everything was approved.
Those battery cables should be more than long enough for you to remove the battery from the unit completely while servicing it. And Always remove the - Negative first, after tripping the breaker and pulling the fuse.
Thanks so much.
Does this have a mid pto?
No it does not.
Thank you sir for your help
Keep watching
I wonder if cheap Joe's was in the flood, it's in boone NC😮
I can't answer that question. Thank you so much for watching.
Why are people playing this sad sad music with these videos? Arent they sad enough?? 😢😢
I chose this much because it is a sad and so tragic a situation. I don't want to make light of what has happened. Music selection for my videos is sometimes difficult as I try to hunt for the TH-cam allowable music that, in my opinion, suits the video. As always, thank you for your comment and watching St Nix Farms.
@@StNixFarms I'm so sorry! I didn't mean that in a bad way at all!! I continue to pray for all of you everyday. ❤️🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much.
I have a massey ferguson 253 with a front end loader. I bought the tractor used about 1 year ago. I have been looking for a paper service maunal for my tractor. Any ideas where to find one?
There are some online, but you may have to pay for them.
Hey Larry. How long did your house end up being.
Are you asking about our Colorado house in Colorado or the house here in Alabama? Our house in Alabama is about 100' from on end to the other. Odd question but thanks for commenting and watching.
@@StNixFarms sorry but I meant hose. How long was the hose and did I see two coupler's?
Okay, sorry I did not understand. I will measure that for you and get back to you.
Thanks! Very helpful video. I just installed mine. You never mentioned why you used oil while drilling. I found out quickly after the drill grabbed and spun my hand off it. I then remembered the oil. Worked like a charm.
Yes, plus the oil will keep your drill bit cooler and it will not dull as fast.
The music was unnecessary. I wanted to hear the machine
Always a question of when to use and when to not. Thanks for watching and the comment.
You might want to mark the angle fixture to the grinder base with a sharpie marker, so you know exactly where to set it in the future. I plan on buying the same mill and sharpener when I move to my Idaho property in a few years, this content is very useful so thank you
It is a really good mill for all that I ever do. Thanks so much for watching .
When running, I can't stand on the side of the exhaust flow. I'm surprised how close the gas meter and regulator is. Good video, thanks for taking the time to make it.
I just do not get that much exhaust for there to be a problem. These were certified installers. Thanks for the comment.
Had to refresh my memory on this cable replacement! You know how it is when you reach your 70's.....forget how you did what and when! Thanks for the refresher!
Yes I certainly do. Thanks for the comment and watching.
@@StNixFarms you bet! I ended up going with the OEM even though it was 3 times the price!
Thank you for the informative video. It was very well done.
Glad it was helpful!. Thank you so much for watching and the comment.
Thanks for the great video. Keeping it simple and fun.
Thanks so much and I hope you continue to enjoy and keep on watching.
OMG Brother😬😳😬. Your Generac is too close to the house and your gas meter. It’s going to burn up that gas meter during a prolonged outage during the summer. 😮
A Generac installer did the installation. Going to have to trust their expertise. Representatives from the local gas district, Alabama Power and the installer were all here on the day of the installation.
I am pretty sure the gas line is too small for a Generator of this size. Mine is a 16kwh Generac & I had to install 1.5” gas line and have an in line regulator added at the gas meter.
Yeah. The heat looks to be directly facing the meter.
@@StNixFarms It should have failed inspection. NFPA ( National Fire Protection Association ) rules are pretty clear. NFPA 37 Requirements For a complete and updated list, see the NFPA 37 web page. 5ft. from openings in walls (operable windows, doors, vents, window wells, or openings in the wall). 18 in. of clearance from the back of the generator to a stationary wall or building (based on testing done by the Southwest Research Institute or SwRI). 5 ft. of clearance above the generator. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This is where it fails. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3 ft. of clearance at the front and both ends. This includes trees, shrubs, and bushes. Vegetation not in compliance could obstruct airflow and exhaust fumes could inhibit plant growth. In addition to these requirements, verify all potential for water intrusion is directed away from the generator enclosure: sprinklers, roof run-off, down spouts, and sump pump discharge.
Nice video ! The 70 specs 341/2 wide great product showcase!
It was a great day for us sawmill guys and gals. Thanks so much for watching.
Also, Note: Apply dielectric grease to battery posts to prevent corrosion.
Thanks for your note.
Did you remove the 7.5 amp fuse? Noticed it looked like you touched terminals to generator frame when cleaning. Believe it is recommended when servicing.
Followed instructions. Thanks for watching.
Can’t wait to see the completed project!
If the heavy equipment will ever get me worked in. Love.
Awesome video!!
Thank you and thanks so much for watching.
Good job connecting to the draw bar and not the 3ph. Can't flip over that way with the pull point lower than the axle.
Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Thank you
Hope it helped.
@@StNixFarms I was able to remove the bad cable and reinstall the new cable from under the Gator, I only need to remove the dash panel, the storage compartment and the dump box. The cable tray is accessible under the Gator. BTW we have the XUV560 Gator

Hallelujah. I am so happy for your excellent video. I am confident I have all I need to service my battery!!
Yes, I do too. Have a great one and enjoy your generator.
Hell no. Had a recall on the bolt for propeller and shop has had mine now for 35 days, still not back.
What shop did you have to take it to? Authorized dealer? Just wondering.
& I like your truck

Thank you, and thanks for watching our channel.
Going to work on my Gererac in a few days. Great Video. Question: After the battery is disconnected, Do you have to re-enter any configuration in the menu?
That is a great question. I didn't and I don"t know where the backup is.
When checking battery I always use my multi meter to check battery voltage when the terminals are disconnected. It should read 12 volts when its not being charged with the systems trickle charger. Great video thanks for sharing,
Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment. Larry
A fully charged battery should have around 12.7 volts. 12.0 volts is very low.
Thank you so much for this video. Our battery just died and we couldn't figure out where the battery was located. Saved us before the storms start this week.
Thanks so much for watching. I am glad the video was of some help to you. Larry
Good Job 👍
Thanks so much for watching. The fuel tank issue has been a challenge. I appreciate your comment. Larry
The boards underneath your sawmill going left to right and you cut out around the feet. Does the boards have anything to do with structure?
Only from the standpoint of a platform to hold my toe jack which is an ATV jack and a place to lay things. Also a place to walk on when putting my lubrication container and putting gas in the mill. Again just a good platform for things.
Were these from a company called vevor?
No, they were from Amazon with a brand name of Anisun.
