Are you two divorced and remarried? Not here to argue, not commenting again.
Yes, we are both divorced and remarried. What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? (As my mom would say!)🤣
@@joshandkristy Nothing at all apparently. I think that person was trying to "stir the pot" in some way. Sad.

I would love to submit to my husband but he refuses to lead. He thinks that all he has to do is go to work and that is it. I am trying to submit
The important thing is to follow what God calls us each to do. Pray for your husband and allow God to work on him. This is why community is so important! We all need others to lean on and gather strength from. ❤️

Yep definitely. Suffered from physical pain and ailments my whole life due to many traumas I’ve lived thru. But nothing the Lord hasn’t brought me thru, especially when my mom was murdered.
My wife and I both have experienced severe trauma. Getting shot, sexual-emotional-physical abuse and so much more. Trauma is real and it affects us all..but GOD!! So sorry for your loss. 😢
Why the random triggers though ?
Everyone is different and our past pain can be triggered in many different ways. Depends on the person and the trauma.
Thank u!❤
Most welcome! 🤗
LOL, oh that was a good one, oh, you're serious? Let me laugh even harder.
What? 🫤
Why are most Americans in therapy? And STILL have high suicide rates? The industry can be a scam.
I think the whole therapy system is broken. It hasn’t changed in over 100 years. Even though society has changed in major ways. This is the exact reason why I’m finishing my grad degree in marriage and family therapy. Because I believe it takes something different to create a different outcome. I just pray, and hope that more people that see the problem are getting into the field to help create a new solution.
Beautiful it actually says deliver Us from the evil one and not just deliver Us from evil. Usually that last part is kept out. I'm glad to see it wasn't here.
Husband love and respect ur wife as God love and respect his. Church.❤
Amen!!
Lol do you actually think that any woman nowadays would listen to this lol, every woman out there today say that they don't even need men, and that we are a waste of space, many of them are man haters because they all fall in love with the wrong kind of man, and that's what they base their thoughts and beliefs on, that's why the old saying "nice guys always finish last" was and will always be some of the truest words ever spoken, so the lesson here ........ nobody cares lmao
What about honoring & submitting themselves to your wives, that is broken when that man is abusive to the children & his wife & when he is a cheater with other woman &;having babies by other women while in the marriage "Where is that scripture"? Me & my children are Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse Take care of yourself & your children ladies it's ok to leave when your vows have been broken over & over again you didn't do anything wrong save your children & yourself from toxic & dangerous people & LIVE💜🙏🏾God bless you All Amen
I was about to say the same thing!! You said nothing but the total truth!! I was broken and stayed for my children but I just don't want to keep going through the same thing. Bless you stay strong and hold your head high Queen! ❤
Amen this comment is witness by P.astor
The Bible states very clearly the way a man is supposed to honor their wives and if he has not done so you have a Biblical right to leave! It works both ways. Men need to step up and stop being so selfish!!
A marriage devotional is supposed to talk to husband and wife.
That’s why we have one per day! Works for your entire marriage! ❤️
@@joshandkristy where is the devotional calling women to submit to their husbands?
lol. Slow down buckey! Devotionals are supposed to help the individual not call out others! The last thing God wants us doing is try to do his job, by attempting to fix (or call out our wives). It’s a marriage devotional. There will be plenty to help both husbands and wives. 😉
@@joshandkristy All right there, buckey!! You call husbands to love their wives, like Christ loves His church, but you won’t call wives to submit to their husbands?
How do you know that we haven’t? Have you watch all our content? You seem So fixed on ensuring wives are called out that I believe you are missing the point here! Devotionals are not to supposed to encompass the entire Bible, that’s why we are all called to read God’s word for ourselves. 😊
This isn't true for everyone. Some women aren't ready for that step or sure that they're with the right man yet.
Agreed!!
Plenty of women don't want to marry. Or are enjoying a relationship that they know is temporary. The thing people like JP hate most about feminism is that it allowed women a measure of independence from men. He can't comprehend the notion that these cultural norms have been changing rather rapidly for at least a 100 years.
I agree. When you look at relationships like marriage, (through a faith-based perspective ) it’s hard to accept the way society is going. But you are right, it’s been going this direction for a long time.
It's okay as long as it doesn't exceed? Y'all give TERRIBLE advice. Couples equally yoked and grounded in Christ don't need a girls or guys night out, especially with people who are not strong in their faith.
I think you need to watch the entire episode before deciding on how bad the advice is. lol. Healthy equally yoked, Christ centered relationship can go out with friends. 🤷🏼♂️ Really not sure the issue here?!?
Don't date unequally yoked people. God is ALWAYS first.
Not everyone is a follower of Jesus. Not everyone starts their relationships out with believing and following Jesus.
You're too focused on wants and desires instead of RESPONSIBILITIES.
RESPONSIBILITIES tie into wants and needs. I think that it’s highly IRRESPONSIBLE to not focus on your partners wants and needs.
My girlfriend told me I was her first, supposedly she didn’t do anything with her ex because she was afraid of getting pregnant, we are 5 years deep and she finally told me she did sleep with him when they dated. Now I kinda feel like this whole relationship is a lie. She took my virginity and said I took hers, turns out she wasn’t ever a virgin to begin with. I’m kind of conflicted. Guess I just gotta be “mature” and accept it for what it is
I think relationships are always tough. The most important thing is moving forward. What was the reason why she came clean? Did she explain to you? Why she kept it from you? These are the types of questions that are important for moving forward. We all have secrets to some degree. If you guys are together for 50 years, five years in is a struggle, the next 45 could be incredible.
@MugenWoe She helped build the relationship on a lie. If she lies to you, she doesn't respect you. If she doesn't respect you, she can't love you. Do you want to continue in a relationship with that betrayal in the back of your mind for the rest of your lives? In my opinion, cut it off and find someone else who will respect you. 5 years is nothing compared to a lifetime.
@@joshandkristyhow is the most important thing about "moving forward"? We're here to confront the situation not ignore it. Also what possible reason could be valid as to why she lied to him? Also can you trust her response to be truthful at this point? What ELSE has she lied about?
I just don’t think it’s that cut and dry, respectfully. I’ve cheated on every single woman I’ve ever been with, except for my wife I have now. Just for context, this is my second marriage. Just because I made those mistakes in the past doesn’t mean that’s the person I will forever be. People can and do change. Not saying what you are saying is 100% wrong, I just don’t think it’s 100% right.
The only true way to move forward is to NOT ignore it. I would never say ignore something of that severity. When someone is dishonest in a relationship, especially for that long, it takes a huge amount of trust and hard work to regain the relationship again. A single lie doesn’t make a person a liar. A single lie doesn’t mean that a relationship needs to be over.
