This was pretty much the best soundtrack of the 2000s and what a good film. What a treat ☺️

This man went one tour once in America performing these songs and I got to see it, absolutely captivating live. Still one of the best performances I've ever seen.

These are historical treasures of the region's gold rush and development. I wish they were respected and preserved.

To me, the " Road Pirates " episode is what got me into Dirt/ Street & Trail style Bikes as a kid. The Kickstart Tom Wopat gives that thing is by and FAR the Best and gnarliest sounding Kick start I've personally heard from a dirt bike. That Yamaha "Blue Moon " color package , that Strong Yellow and the White & Black color combos on those Bikes looked So freakin' Awesome. When Boss Hogg is ripping around on one.... it makes me laugh. Hard. Why can I get an image in my head of a younger Boss back in the 1950's , having made off with somebody's old English, Triumph Bonneville or something with dirt grip tires on it. ,Running from the Law, and here He is , with a Gunnysack on his back carting around Quart and Pint mason jars of moonshine, firmly Wrapped in layers upon layers of dish towels and paper,he got from Lulu's kitchen. 😂

At the 3:35 mark, it seems the two runways have shifted to the left. In the first pic you can clearly see the 3 boys about to head straight to the long skinny pool, but in the 2nd pic it looks like that starting point ends in the wider pool to the left. Wth??? Illusion.

You can still ride a peice of history from this park. Collosal canyon in bc, cultus lake waterpark was brought from this place in 2005! Also the 0-60 raceway. Both were re painted.

This is sad. I grew up going to the first Lake Dolores and camping with the first standup waterslides. Miss the good old days.

It's crazy you've found all this. I live on the plateau and have been slowly discovering these while learning to mountain bike. I recognize nearly everything you're showing here. Most mines are now blocked with metal bars. One looks to have been reactivated, is currently marked "keep out," and there is a claim post out front marked "Crow's Nest". If you look really closely in that Southern half of the plateau, you'll see other weathered 4x4 posts marking claims, some legible, some not. Some of the dirt roads are quite a bit more washed out and rutted. Dirtbikes seem to be king here. Lots of this is BLM land so just stay away from fences and neighborhoods and you'll be fine. Also, avoid the illegal greenhouses. Can be very sketchy. Some of the roads you're showing are now closed at some points. Hiking around these closures is not a problem usually. They're trying to do habitat conservation in some places, keep out the offroader erosion. None of these dirt roads are easy, relentlessly rolling. You're going to do a few thousand feet of elevation gain around here whether you want to or not. I suggest folks look at topo maps of the area to get a few hints. One not so obvious spoiler is there's an outlying trail in Harford Springs Park with a name that's a dead giveaway. That's all I can say. It's almost impossible to track down trail names in that park. This is a scavenger hunt at an adult scale and no reason I'm going to give the game away here. lol
