SALT AND DUST
มุมมอง 8832 ปีที่แล้ว
See the photo here: superrare.com/jubbish Salt and dust, breathing atop a rock that doesn’t know your name. Heart filled with fuel and lungs filled with fire- What will you say before your breath runs out? Living like raindrops: born from chaos, racing towards a certain end. A ripple in a sea of strangers who blink and forget we lived at all. If the fall is all we have, how will you have it sou...

We Tried to Summit Mt. Temple in the Middle of Winter
มุมมอง 9123 ปีที่แล้ว
This was as high as we could make it on a winter attempt to summit Mt. Temple, an 11,000ft peak that towers over the Banff area of the Canadian Rockies. The climb was far from over, but with storms looming in the distance and wind already threatening to blow us off the mountain, we had to turn back. Sadly, I was not able to record the worst of the storm when hail was battering us and swirling w...

Travel to Iceland: A Roadtrip Through the Land of Fire & Ice
มุมมอง 3144 ปีที่แล้ว
A travel roadtrip video about Iceland! This was a summer adventure to visit the land of fire & ice two years ago, with one of my childhood friends. I had all this footage lying around for so long just to make a two minute long adventure video, which I know seems ridiculous, but I really do hope you enjoy watching it! Hopefully the next time I take a big epic trip like this and record the whole ...

So many apologies for taking this long to make another episode! These episodes take time to create, and I'm not the greatest when it comes to managing that time. I hope you enjoy this new episode, and I promise we will continue to put these clips together so you can follow along with our life and how the truck has been built. We have several terabytes of footage to put together, more content co...

มุมมอง 1.3K5 ปีที่แล้ว
ADVENTURE PHOTOGRAPHY: jubbish If this is your first episode, keep in mind it's a bit longer and more technical than the others! Not as much fun and no fancy B-roll but hopefully it'll answer some questions about what exactly we're building. In this episode we talk about our Renogy solar system, and give you a little tour of our exterior compartments. We've gotten a lot of questi...

EPISODE FOUR: Small updates and BIG fun
มุมมอง 8936 ปีที่แล้ว
PHOTOGRAPHY: jubbish?hl=en We hope that you enjoy episode 4 of the firetruck build! This one was very fun to create, since it's mostly just the two of us being silly and we are very, very good at that particular activity. We'll be coming out with a technical episode soon to give more detail on how exactly we're making this firetruck work as an RV. Thanks for watching, leave us a ...

ok, you guys made the best roof rack I've seen yet! I am definitely using your idea on the solar panels on the next one!
Its so cool you guys documented this journey. I would have loved to be able to look back at our build.
I love the insulation you found! I'm ordering some now for my next project!
How did you guys get to Temple with Moraine Lake Road closed for the winter?

@@jubbish3453 would be better to say the last weekend parks has the road open over middle of winter. Middle of winter it doesn't look like that.

Jeez oh man, what incredible views!! This looks like so much fun Jay, I can’t wait to explore these kind of mountains one day. So glad you were still able to get that far and not die in the storm 😅❤️
Underwear snacks and brain saving tips! What more could a guy ask for in a video? Sucks you couldn't summit this time, but still looked like an awesome adventure. Great video, mate!
GLORIOUS PURPOSE!!!!!!!!
Sheesh, can’t believe this is from three years ago! So amazing!
So here I am, at my warm, small Caribbean island. Businesses and restaurants are open again, tourists started coming back. I am so grateful for being able to meet people again, to do things together, to hug friends. I have planned my first trip. Let's see. One small thing though: our only child lives in Australia. We haven't seen her for for two years now. Her country's borders are still closed. Now THAT's the trip my heart has been yearning to make all this time. But it will have to wait a bit more ... Thank you so much for showing your wonderful and beautiful pictures and for your captivating stories, passionately told straight from your heart. You somehow managed to fill this void a bit. It IS a big and beautiful world! Thank you!
This is really amazing man, beautiful work. You got me so inspired ❤️❤️❤️

Gorgeous set and awesome stories behind them. Love this 🖖
Beautiful 😍
You said: "Sorry if I bored anyone with those nitty gritty..." You had almost ZERO "nitty gritty" anything. I would sure like to see how the two systems house and car are organized. How you did it. Especially how you hooked up the car alternator to also change the 12 Vs, and the 12V to car car batteries. So you obviously have a two-way while car is running and cut off when the car is stopped. How? Show the wiring. Is the 12V system protected from over-charging while the car is running? Thanks
I made these videos for friends and family to see what we were up to. Sorry you didn’t get the education you wanted out of them. lol I used a massive constant relay, a relay that is not meant to be a momentary switch but it’s meant to be a full-time diverter of power. The activation switch of the relay is controlled by the ignition of the truck, and hooked to a timer. The timer is so that you don’t try to crank the engine off of the house batteries, that’s bad for them. There is a heavy wire running from the house batteries to one side of the relay, and a heavy wire running from the other side of the relay to the alternator. When you switch on the truck, a timer countdown, and after the truck is started the relay clicks and the alternator starts charging the house batteries. It runs through the same voltage monitoring system in the ecu of the truck that the engine batteries do, so they will not be overcharged. Then, when the truck switches off, the batteries disconnect so you can’t drain your truck batteries when you drain your house batteries. Let me know if you have any other questions.
