8 to 1 header on a completely stock 4.8

Only mods were the intake and carb. Carb wasn’t jetted for a stock engine so was a little rich.
Firing up a completely stock 4.8.

I like it. Question though....why not have the primary tubes in the collector according to firing order?? Just curious if it was convenient or what. Ive never tested the difference in the two ways. Curious if you had any feedback.
@@arturozarate1752 because it was built for my 4th gen Camaro, no way for that to fit in the application, plus I’m not crazy over what I correctly done 8-1 sounds like. This was the sound I was going for and happy with.

Yes, except headstuds, headgaskets, cam, lifters, pushrods, and all the valvetrain is upgraded

@@thomasknight3975 no brake, I’ve ran 14 engines so far just like this in the last 2.5 years just to verify oil pressure and make sure they are mechanically sound.

@@bobbysmith4783 takes no longer to change than traditional style headers, these were thought out very well with all that in mind, nothing built just to look cool.

Those headers are better then bag of snakes used in pantaras
I'd say a engine stand isn't the best holder for a running motor but that toothpick makes me say fk it dudes got it covered

Bro you spend all that money putting that Ls engine together and make it carbureted. What a cheapskate, at least make it atomic fuel injection
@@thatguy_jose lol, it was ran with a carb just to verify oil pressure and make sure everything is mechanically sound I do it on every engine I build it literally takes 15 mins to get it started and it’s way simple and faster to do it this way. And atomic fuel injection is 🗑️. If it isn’t oem ECU, HolleyEFI , Fueltech, or Haltech I don’t won’t it.
