I remember when I was 21 (I am now 27, 4 years younger than you), I bought a new 2019 c7 zr1, velocity yellow 7 speed manual ztk package. that was after i had graduated college and I bought seven houses in cash as well. anyways, I only bought that car once I knew i had a lot of garage spaces because I needed space for the car I bought when I was 19, the 2017 aventador sv coupe in rosso bia (I bought new). also bought the zr1 because I had decent income from my houses since I rented some of them out. I drove my normal basic car (2015 bmw f80 m3 dct in yas marina blue) when I was 17 until I could justify the sv. overall congrats on the z06.

This video was a genuine cleanse from all the other bullshit out there. Bravo. Subbed to support. I have the same car as you, same spec, same color, just a 2017. Some tips. Your front splitter winglets look a bit off on the fitment and this is because for some reason with the carbon splitter each side has a bit of a bump out. Really stupid design. If you want them to fit flush and look lined up, you can take them off and with an electric sander sand down those bump outs. Will look nice. Second, based on the alcantara pillars I'm assuming yours is a 3LZ. Your dash WILL delaminate unless you go out of your way to take care of it. Your windshield is I think tinted so that will help, but may want to invest in a sun shade as well. I would blame GM interiors department for being imbeciles in not being able to address an issue that has existed since the C5 and now on through the C8, but apparently all brands have this issue with these materials. Just a shame that when you shell out more money for a higher trim, it's a bit of a ticking time bomb going from looking sweet to being in complete shambles and a potential 3k repair eplacement. If mine falls apart too much I'll just be sourcing a custom job, make it unique. Third, some splash guards on front and back are great to prevent you from throwing rocks at yourself. And you'll need those for the fourth tip. The stock wheels on the z06 and grand sport are made out of porcelain. At least they seem to be, because a lot of them crack. GM just recently recognized this as a known issue and are actually paying people back that can prove that they had to pay to have them repaired or replaced. If you want to get out in front of that, budget for and scope some nice forged wheels and you'll have some peace of mind. Get a nice offset and these cars sit really pretty. Oh and the corvettes come from the factory with adjustable suspension bolts that have some room for a nice tasteful lowering. Some quick research will give you a guide on how to do it, it's easy. Enjoy the car my friend \m/

Owned a 15 manual z07. Fun car but you have to drive it with so much restraint. If you open it up and get caught you’re going to jail. Have less powerful cars now that are more fun to use on the daily

I own a 2016 Z06, 3LZ convertible. I tried to by a manual C7 Z06 coupe but it sold too fast. At 57 years old I don't mind the A8. I have owned a 1988 Z51 Corvette and a 1991 ZR-1 Corvette both with manuals. I agree they are fun. I wish I could mod but CA emissions are too strict. I have a DSX supercharger lid and an AFE intake (which I hope my smog guy will overlook). Haha! Thanks for the video!

u doo not need lowering springs..etc..juss get a 10mm box end wrench.....u can take it down 2where it looks great..but scrapes way 2much..doo a little at time..when urr comfortable with the new height..get it re-allighnned.
