My 3 roommates and I have a home theater with a subwoofer set-up along with a projector in our living room. We're all full grown men. Let me tell you, I have never seen my room mates high-pitch scream in fear in unison. I paused it and laughed as they all had a look of sheer terror and fright on their faces during this scene. One room mate was hugging a pillow for dear life. Favorite jumpscare from a series.

I’m watching Midnight Club now and something made me want to go back and watch this again. Glad to see I was far from the only person who thinks this might be the best jump scare of all time.

Bailey was my favourite out of the family besides Claudia until this happened now I can’t stand him! just finished this episode and disgusted how he says he loves Sarah when he literally slipped his thing into someone else not once but twice so ridiculous I was hoping she’d leave but she is way too nice and just makes excuses for him like come on girl! 🤷‍♀️

I've been a horror fan for a long time and have seen all kinds of jumpscares, but this was one of the very few that were done absolutely right. It completely subverts your expectations and just comes completely out of nowhere. Like usually when a jumpscare comes you somewhat see it coming. Also the way it's done, it feels like so much more than a jumpscare for the sake of being a jumpscare especially if you take Nelly's character into consideration. It's basically her getting Theo and Shirley to stop fighting.

Best jump scare ever. Not only was it timed perfectly, but it was a legit and earned scare that was masterfully done. No cheap cat jumping here. This is the correct way to pull this trick off. Flanagan is the best at horror and continues to prove it.

don't listen to 1:02 with headphones. I saw it 3 times on repaet for the different reactions and my ears hurt. The multiple screams make one combined killer scream. Literally

These are so fucking fake, I hate this "reaction" trend. Anyone filming themselves watching this shit already knows what happens, I had to turn this off a minute in. The only real ones are the ones where the person doesnt know they're being recorded.

I remember I was watching this alone in the house during a snow storm earlier this year and when This part came on, I had Just looked down at my phone to text a friend back and bam. Nearly yeeted my phone across the room. 😅 This was the first tv jumpscare that about made me shit my pants.
