The Model SV is an RS-232 Serial Interface data recorder/logger. It not only records data, but can also send the data to a common computer monitor to display the report.
This means that a user could monitor the recording as it is being received,
such as showing the status of measuring equipment while it is progressing. Example: The events from a sterilizer autoclave cycle could be viewed by the user.
Another example: An alarm system could output event data to the computer monitor, as well as logging it to the SD Card.
There is no computer involved. There is no software.
This is a simple self contained system that can be easily used if your
measuring equipment has a plain RS-232 serial port that outputs text report data.
In some cases it can be used to eliminate a dot matrix printer.
The print report may be 80 columns or widebody 132 columns.
There are 25 lines on the display.
Use Model SV with measuring instruments, machines, alarm systems, PLC's, and RTRU's, weigh scales, print cables, and other computers.
