Looks fine but I can see Dust just sitting in there if you don't get them out from time to time, most of my figures are in box stored away, have a few loose figures like this video but also stored away in bubble wrap.

Not a bad idea, but not a chance. I see it potentially being useful for storage in some ways, but it offers no protection. Figuring total square inches of space, there’s simply no way plastic storage is beaten by anything

I break up small parts into organized ziplock bags, and the figures go into larger ziplock bags. Then I have a closet's worth of these modular black plastic containers. Things are decently condensed, and 24 of them fit in said closet. This method would take a lot more room, but I can see it being a lot better for people who sell things regularly or if you rotate your displays lots.
