cool butterfly. I love the soothing vibes of your videos
O Sinners sounds good. Gotta love some Keke Palmer. Never heard of Jellycats. I am happy you are part of the community. Love the nails
First time seeing you. This video was such a vibe
I love a giveaway and I really love free books. My favorite book read in January was also Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. I'm re-reading all my Ghana authors because I'm going to Ghana next month for the first time. Next on my list is Ghana Must Go by Taiye Selasi. Have you read it? Also, congrats on all of your subscribers. That's really amazing!
Enjoyed this vlog.. great way to wrap up the month and also show us your other hobbies! Added Black In Blue to my list
Hi!!!! 🤗 My Favorite Book of the month is "The Bookshop Sisterhood" by Michelle Lindo - Rice. I'm enjoying your channel soo much! 💐
@@FlowBloom ooo what drew you to that book?
My favorite book that I read in January was James. I was glad I finally got to it.
@@lalabailey4391 james was so good, worth the hype!
So bright and beautiful and colorful!
@@jenb3672 thank you!
My favorite book this month was The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory! I’ve also purchased two flower Lego sets because of you. Love this channel!! 🤎
@@inkonsweetgrass wow it’s been so long since i’ve read that book, glad you enjoyed it! and yay! they’re honestly perfect and make any space beautiful 😍
My favorite book this month was Gray After Dark by Noelle Ihli. Such a great fast paced thriller. Loving your videos especially since I’m obsessed with jelly cats and Legos as well 💖
@@nikaelarodriguez3329 ooo i’ll look that up! yay i’m so glad you’re here and i’m happy that i’ve found my people 🫶🏾
My favorite books this month were 'The Skin I'm In' by Sharon G. Flake and 'Legendborn' by Tracy Deonn. I was left in awe. I was scared to read both of them and had them for so long, but just thinking about them makes me teary-eyed.
@@cookouttable adding the skin i’m in to my reading list asap! and im currently reading bloodmarked, have you started it yet?
@ I plan on starting it this week and am so excited, but I was waiting because I know the third book is coming out next month. I already know it going to be amazing!
@ yesss i’m so excited for the third book! l made a reading guide for Legendborn & Bloodmarked over on IG that goes all the way until the release of oathbound!
My favorite book that I read in January was The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin ❤
@@erin_bookish love NK Jemisin! i’ve only read the city we became, how was the fifth season?
@ it was honestly so much better than I was expecting! It was a big brain book for me, and I had to take my time with it. So worth it though! Jaw was on the floor lol
My favorite book of this month is a tie between A love song for Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams and Don’t Cry for Me by Daniel Black. I can’t wait to read O Sinners once it comes out because of your review!
@@arianacollins6306 l loved a love song so much, l think im going to put don’t cry for me on my february tbr
I finished reading Issac's Song yesterday and loved it
@@dulogda right?! have you read don’t cry for me?
@@theehottgirlbooks i haven't, but would love to in the future!
@ i’ve only heard good things!
My fav book of this month was God Help this Child by Toni Morrison! I followed it up with her docu so it was perf!
I have been meaning to read that one for so long, maybe this is my sign!
My favorite book this month was Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. I;m so glad I finally got around to reading it; it lived up to the hype! Also, I am currently looking at Lego sets thanks to this video. LOL.
home going is a classic! I'm glad you were able to read it ☺ and so sorry to your wallet lol but which lego set are you considering?👀
I read Homegoing too! It was the second time I read it, in preparation for my upcoming trip to Ghana, but I still loved it all over again.
My favorite book this month was So Let Them Burn by Kamilah Cole and I can’t wait for the second book coming out tomorrow !
@@jakorit8349 oooo okay i’ve had my eye on that one, what drew you to it?
@@theehottgirlbooks I wanted to tap back into fantasy but something with dragons and written by a Black author and the series came highly recommended! Once I read it I instantly was in love, the story kept me on my toes of what was going to happen throughout the entire book and the ending was not expected
@@jakorit8349 okay you have definitely convinced me, thank you for sharing!
I love that Lion King will never end as well. I’m definitely going to wait until it’s streaming.m to watch it. It Seems like they start streaming a month after release now 😂
@@BrynnD i’m so glad you feel the same lol it’s always such a joy watching lion king! and yeah l feel like it’ll be on streaming soon 😂
My favourite book this month was Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson or A Sign of Affection by suu Morishita! They both offered tons of escape from the scary world we're in right now. I also love Jellycats! My partner gave me a couple for Christmas (the Boba and popcorn ones)! I usually get whatever ones are available at my local bookstore! Love your channel and the vibe so much! Excited to be a part of your TH-cam journey so early on 😊 liked and subscribed!
@@hayleykerrean this might be weird but l feel like it’s too late for me to start reading brandon sanderson lol and those books are massive omg but i’m glad you got to escape because january was insane! yay! the popcorn jellycat is on my list lol l just got the large sky dragon and im obsessed 😍 thank you so much for being here, it means so much to me
@theehottgirlbooks I thought that as well, my first Brandon Sanderson novel I read two years ago, and it was Mistborn! My friend pushed me to read Way of Kings, but I was so intimidated that I put it off. I gave it a shot around 6 months ago, and I'm so glad I did! It's so long, but the storytelling and characters and mystery are really incredible. If you haven't read any Sanderson, I would recommend Tress of the Emerald Sea as a standalone and giving Mistborn Era one a shot. Then you'll have an idea of if his writing is for you! I want the dragon soooo bad, but he's never in stock, and shipping is so expensive 😭 I think the large octopus will be my next one!
@ this is so helpful! i’ll let you know if l start my sanderson journey lol and yes l didn’t know the dragon was so popular! l have a local location and she just happened to get a restock so l was lucky lol but the large octopus is so fun, i’ve never seen it in person
Had to sub - so many of these books are on my TBR too. Too many books, not enough time! 😩
Thank you for sharing this book and the lego set! I really enjoyed it. This reminded me to get back to a lego set that I’ve left incomplete for months lol.
@@kendrahampton1631 yesss please pick it up soon! 😍
We had such a similar experience reading this book. 😭 I think you will enjoy Don’t Cry for Me just as much. It was beautiful for sure. Would love to see more build/read with me videos. It was relaxing ☺️ 🤗
@@KaylasBookishVibes so good to hear! i’ll definitely be reading it next month, can’t wait to cry lol and thank you for watching it was so fun to build and share!
I love lego sets, books and the video aesthetic . Subscribed!
@@YetisOdyssey thank you for being here! 🫶🏾
That butterfly is gorgeous!! I didn’t know Lego made one.
@@RachelsCozyCorner yes! the insect collection was a fun build, definitely recommend it!
How was curvy girl summer? I tried to listen to the audio but the first sentence was wayyyy too spicy for me 😂 especially the tone of the reader. So I’m thinking of getting the book. 😂😂
This was such a breath of fresh air! So peaceful and calming. You have a true gift in the way in which you communicate. And the fact that you built the set with nails is next level talent for sure! lol ❤❤❤
@@BookitBrittt wow thank you so much, what a compliment! l appreciate you so much, thank you for watching 🫶🏾 and yes it’s a struggle with the nails but the end result is always worth it 😍

@@PamNg lol l knew what you meant but here are the ones l can think of: mother god, the vow, breath of fire, the way down, dancing for the devil honorable mention of keep sweet pray and obey but it gave me nightmares 🙇🏽♀️ have you seen any of these?
A person is a prayer was such a beautiful yet difficult read for me. Those timelines and the back and forth had me with whiplash.😩 Love your background ❤

thank you! please come back and tell me what you think about both of them ☺️
Welcome to Booktube. Love your nails & Legos. My son builds Legos, mainly the Star Wars ones. I didn't know there was a mermaid themed kit. I'll have to look for that. Mermaids are my fav!

Hi Wale. Another great video. By the way, I read The Devil is Fine after winning it in a contest. I didn't love it, but I still think it was a really good book. It made me think and the characters really stuck with me. I'll be interested in hearing what you think. And yes, it is a gut punch about grief.
