The only one who wins with stick built homes is the builder. They usually don't pass on the savings. They are cheaper to build, not as strong and higher maintenance. I've renovated numerous homes in Florida, and age is not kind to stick built homes.

Florida should BAN wood frame and Block homes. Florida should only allow poured concrete exterior walls within 25 miles of coast. Concrete is far better thermally than wood. Insurance companies are going to refuse to pay for wood frame homes.

Buy wood frame house in FL = waste money & suicide; Sell wood frame house in FL = murder and shameless

Sea Salt in St. Pete is the worst restaurant for food and service. Six of us walked out after we told the manager to rip up the bill.....

As a US citizen, the answers were shocking! Why didn’t you all provide them with the correct answers as oppose to affirming the incorrect ones? What was the purpose of the questioning? If it was to show their historical ignorance, that message came through loud and clear. I’m stumped by their ignorance of our country’s history! Wow!

how did anyone ever survive in frame homes prior to block homes? lol If you're worried about hurricanes, live somewhere like Ocala where hurricane risk is minimal. And yes, block homes get termites, too. We got them in our block home. BLock homes are not impervious to mold or termites. You have to treat for termites annually with termite bait stations whether you live in a block home, a mobile home, or a frame home. And the number one thing - don't live in fear. Jesus Christ, our eternal King can help with that. He offers peace of mind, wisdom, and strength to overcome this world. This cursed world goes by in 2 seconds. Buy that frame home if you like it and praise God for it! xoxoxo Just don't spend all your money on beer, smokes, and lottery tickets, so you'll have that extra money to take care of your home. Don't move to FL period lol. Can't get a new homeowners insurance policy and the state will be mostly underwater in 10-20 years.. the high point is like 150ft above sea level near the Alabama border.. and the humidity sucks.. especially if you wear glasses lol. - guy who lived in FL for 10 years

Downtown Tampa has a wonky layout, Armature Works is good but should be closer to Downtown proper, most people won't walk from there to a lighting game, St Pete has a great simple layout, Central ave and Beach dr easy to figure out
