01/19/24 pm - The Warning of the Sermon on the Mount (continued) - The Sermon on the Mount emphasizes the Lord's will for mankind. However, this sermon ends with several warnings concerning the importance of having a personal relationship with God by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. The danger of someone imitating the outward actions of salvation without ever going through the straight gate or being made a good tree is real. Doing good works without knowing the Lord or building a house (testimony or life) without the foundation of Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11-15) only brings destruction and eternal judgment.
