In Jamaica, Hurricane Beryl attacked the country on July 3 and has resulted in a large number of those affected including the loss of lives, and significant physical damage. The southern region of Jamaica in particular has suffered significant damage, and livelihood infrastructure has been affected.
Hurricane Beryl, the strongest Atlantic hurricane to occur in early July, cut a devastating path through the Caribbean, Yucatan Peninsula and the United States, leaving extensive infrastructure damage and power outages in its wake.
Impacted communities in Jamaica have limited access to clean water, sanitation and electricity. The flooding and standing water increase risk of water- and vector-borne diseases, such as dengue and leptospirosis.

Why are so many blacks so comfortable living in filthy dirty run down places? Just because youre poor doesnt mean you have to look poor. This place can be fixed up better. Id rather see them in mud huts than in these hideous shacks. But im sure because of the rocky area it might be hard to do that. I would love to donate some paint and curtains
