How do you treat naval canker
never had nasal canker, but all canker should respond to a strong antibiotic.
Thanks for nothing
your welcome bitch
I bought the champion YB in my club when I started. Young were all excellent racers and I established a solid line that way. Out of those bred from the original cock the best breeder was a late bred who never raced. One could say he was a 'stock bird' but a proved to be an ace breeder. You provide excellent information and I agree 100% you are best to buy proven racers over paper pedigreed "stock" birds.
Thats awesome, there are definitely some amazing birds in clubs for sure. there are also a ton of great "stock birds" out there, just more of a gamble I guess.
You're right. The pedigrees of my Ganus birds give me a head ache too.
hahaha🤣
Word
Very nice and sharp birds
i appreciate that 😁
Nice birds! Good luck training and all the best racing the yearlings.
thanks 😁 So far so good, got them free flying already. I think they're going to be a good batch of birds.
Great advice let the basket decide!!!

Crazy
RIP chicken. We get a few every year. One little one so far, just two little rattles. Tiny is still hanging in 👍
glad I caught it before it got to the pigeons. this years been real bad for snakes up here. 💪 Lets go Tiny!
Best of luck with them
That stinks! I had a similar issue with a large gopher snake years back. Dead squeakers with wet heads out of the nest on the loft floor. The snake would start to eat them and be unable to get its mouth over the body. Sorry dude...

thanks bro, i appreciate it
@@breedersjourney your welcome I’ll always support you ☺️
No he’s starving ! That’s why it’s going crazy. , those white birds been know to do that they also mature faster . Just fyi
5 out of 8 on a 330 with it being 230 further then any previous toss 💪 They did you proud. You and I are in the same boat. I have a single cock from this year and a hen from 22. They raced well and were two of the better birds but who knows as breeders. I am going to try to send a couple out to a OLR. Martinez Classic is close and no upfront perch fee. Thinking I might put a couple others in futurity races, I can test them against other birds but more affordable than OLR. Hope you have a great Christmas!
that they did 😁true but id bet on a bird that can perform over a pedigree any day. oh nice I was thinking of the martinez clasic too or maybe the central valley to focus on for the early part of the year. there are local futurities? i only see them advertised in florida and the east coast. Merry christmas Tom
@@breedersjourney .. I've got 4 perches reserved with Danza Loft for the 2024 "Martinez Classic".. It'll be a fun one! Hopefully we'll see Tom there with a bird or two in the final race..
@@breedersjourney down south where there is a higher concentration of lofts, fvc is the biggest I think $125 a bird, Orange County is trying to start one, $50 a bird, not the same as a one loft race but it is a way to test the birds… Merry Christmas
@@ausfuhrpramienjagar aww man now ive almost gotta enter the martinez lol
@@littleloftonthehill lower stakes means more entries! im gunna look into that. thanks
Enjoyed watching your videos this year....breeding season around the corner.
thanks man likewise, I know your video this morning got me excited for it.
LOL! Honky 🤣 Oh no, Honky got wasted 🦅Nice video. Enjoyed the journey.
thanks for following along and giving me all the advice!
The gloves are on!!! ....no joking where I think u feel short is the birds knowledge of the race course . The over flew took wrong turns got split up ...one thing for sure that boss is ur best bird ... I have a red bully like that I often breed him down cuz he's huge but I get excellent results
you might be right man i definitely thought about that. thanks, I cant wait to see what he produces this season. ill probably send them to an OLR and see what they do.
@@breedersjourney I can't believe that's the future of the sport ...
@@Rev792 it seems like it, I think the number of pigeon folks is increasing but the clubs are still dying.

That sucks. Unfortunately this problem is everywhere.
yea... hawks are jerks
How many made it back from 400 miles?
5/8
@breedersjourney pretty good for skipping most tosses
@@davespigeons5565 yea I thought so, I think that pretty conclusively shows they either have the homing instinct or they dont.
Oh thank you for this video, My Brunner Pouters were not pairing and the light technique helped
Cool, I'm curious to see how they do next week 😁
me too 🤔
Surprised you had any left when you keep releasing them next to high tension wires like that.. The worst no no in pigeon racing. Btw, that white one busted it's wing up on the wire in that one release, that's why it didn't make it back.
well considering I have all my birds and im at 100 miles I think they figured it out
and i just rewatched the video it 100% did not hit the wire hahaha
.. You better watch the video frame by frame like I did. The second white bird through hits it's right wingtip on the wire and a few feathers are noticeably removed.. It happens really fast so you have to look closely. The point is, you really shouldn't be releasing them around wires like that.. You're asking for trouble when you do.
cool thanks for the advice bud @@ausfuhrpramienjagar

Try to release them in a more open area. You also want to invest in a regular basket, prep them well.
do you feel like the trining basket offers an advantage over a regular cage? believe it or not this is the most open area on my property that isn't right next to the house the next closest open area would be a mile down the road
@breedersjourney oh ok. About the basket is just that I think they come out flying better, that's all
@@MaydisLoft ill be getting one in the near future then. 👍
buenos dias, bonito palomar🙂👍
gracias :D
Dido on what Maydis Loft said.
I appreciate yah
Life is imperfectly perfect, there's always obstacles and sometimes we lose motivation... keep it up. Some years are worse than others. A big team of birds is great to have but a few is still better than just two or 3. TH-cam algorithm? I don't know howbit works. You should continue putting out content as if you had 100,000 subscribers, it will pick up eventually. Best of luck at the Apple Cup, u hope your birds do good but right behind mine 😉 😂
hahaha we shall see! thanks man I appreciate the encouragment. ill keep posting I just want to focus on quality over quantity going forward. and your 100% right, better to have a few than none. there's always next year
Nicely done!
Nice work
Birds looking good bro nice work
Bro you’re killing it my garden is getting beat up with this Florida heat right now great work
thanks man, yeah its brutal here in CA too but they seem to be loving it. must be the cow turds
If they're hungry enough they'll do what you want!
Wow amazing thanks for sharing
thanks for watching :D
Best of luck
thanks bro, im gunna need it lol
Might wanna try some blacks, they’re usually faster… atleast in humans
my theory is that on land yes but who's the fastest in water? ahh see! when weight isn't a factor I believe the advantage goes to the whites
