Daisy Diamond and Olivia Guarnieri present a two-person show titled “…” that explores the feeling of an ellipsis mark-a pause, a trailing thought, an undefined moment-from a variety of entry points, both formal and conceptual. “…” is a quiet mark carrying an ambiguity that is central to both of their practices. For Olivia, it’s about how the meaning of this symbol relates to its visual presence...

Pressing Change

When it comes to social justice, teaching can inspire tremendous change. But when the subject being taught is printmaking, in what ways does the practice also inform the printmaker? In their exhibition “Pressing Change,” printmakers and educators Felisa Adderley, Joy Lai and Sofie Rose Seymour pull from their experience in both worlds to examine the ways the act of printmaking intersects with t...

I know it's been forever since the interview, but I have to say, I respect the hell out of Heather for doing Gavin McInnes' show oh so long ago. I may not at all agree with your point of view but you showed real class. I wish political commentary could be as civil as you two made it.
Well done.
What a total boring uninspiring exhibition.
Veľmi pekné a kreatívne. Dobrý postreh, geometria a farby. Aj aranžmán.😊 Také príjemné.
Lord God, if that is in memorandum… must be hell
Eine gelungene Präsentation. Vom Anspruch weit von dem entfernt, was man so im allgemeinen bei TH-cam, Pinterest und der Gleichen zu sehen bekommt. Herzlichst, Christian Wahl

Tell me, do you have no qualms about producing such crap? Just for the sake of the environment? Think about the toxic waste you produce with your leisure activities! What resources you are wasting! Not to mention how stupid you're making people look with this pointless stuff. It's outrageous.

Nice works. Watched it several times and am impressed, composition and color so good. Tha KS for sharing.
The time to have discussions about school budgets was 8 years ago, in 2014. In that year, schools, cities, and states had to start reporting unfunded pension liabilities on their balance sheets. (GASB68). Philly School District was instantly bankrupt. The response from teachers was "our pensions are not a problem". PSD is in massive debt, with just $1.5 billion cash and $10 billion in debts and unfunded pensions on its balance sheet. The state is broke, too with $100 billion debts and $20 billion cash on its balance sheet. That's why PSD is crumbling. You're dreaming of an era like Calif. in 1960, where schools were well funded. Then in 1978 voters approved Prop 13, the Howard Jarvis Tax Initiative tax revolt. After Prop 13, summer school and music and arts classes disappeared. Calif. got itself into a lot of debt. Incidentally, a public school has to make a profit just like a charter school. That profit is called a "positive increase in net position". McDonalds and Starbucks have nice buildings because they use profits to fund those buildings. The mayor can't do anything. The city of Philly is $15 billion in debt with just $5 billion cash on hand.
Thank you for recording this. I loved listening to the conversation and only wish I had been there to engage in it!
Terrific video; I loved watching you work and listening to your commentary.
