"So many people were invested in that identity of Linet the engineer... Linet the achiever... Then having to sit with that and realize that I AM NOT THAT PERSON." . During the production of this episode I couldn't help but feel that this needed to be shared with everyone who fell victim to identities that were not their own... It is also significant as the year takes flight with many students c...

Checking in x
You are a fighter. I admire your resilience
You are a hard worker for sure. I can attest to that. A very intelligent chap. A human Google. Your drive to always be learning, inspired me. Blessed to know you
Why is such an insightful story so badly produced 😞, could the false start and pauses not have been edited out, could the white noise in the background not be rectified?… that said thank you to your guest who was obviously prepared and still shared his amazing story🖤
This guy is discipline personified, AJ is in great hands🤞🏾
"You survive to live" "If you alive you should strive for something better" "Short term sacrifice for long term gain"
Amen
Thank God for sparing his life 🙏
Powerful testimony.
TH-cam recommending this channel after watching his Defining video <<
This interview was badly produced! Zam was ready and prepared but everyone else dropped the ball!
What I take away from this is that as individual you should push yourself and always hold yourself accountable
This is amazing, please keep going. please keep at it. Don't give up💪🏿✊🏾
There is no juggling in this video, I'm disappointed
It's incredible what wisdom suffering gives to us. Shep what a horrific story but a triumphant end
I have to say that I am really inspired by this interview, she is doing the most.
Waiting for part two, thanks Linet for sharing so honestly your personal story, I too have come to crossroads where I have felt that I am not identifying with who I thought I have had to be- based on personal and social expectations and how I was raised and socialized. For me I am now in a place of allowing myself to be who I need to be and trying to push myself to reimagine how I think I can exist and want to exist in the world- career wise, within friendships and family relationships etc. I don't know where along the road I began centering others opinions and expectations of me whilst silencing/ignoring my own intuition and voice, but it happened and is a behavior I'm unlearning thankfully. There are few safe places to be honest about these types of struggles that can be debilitating and destructive to us as young people, and so I do admire how brave you are for sharing yourself. And once again to Charles, I appreciate what you are creating here
Thanks so much Refentse. I really appreciate your feedback and that you connected to my story. When I was asked by FTPBTP to do this, I hesitated at first. However, my goal in the end was to share and hopefully allow people to identify with my story and feel like they can also share and start a dialogue about this idea of failure and what it means to be successful etc. It's really hard especially when you realise that we are indeed socialized to want to please other people and meet certain expectations, sometimes before we do so for ourselves. I hope your journey leads you to a place of self actualisation and inner bloom and I wish you the best of luck with everything.
Inspiring! ⭐️ Keep sharing your story
Proud of you sis Tsoane
Great interview Tsoane 🙌🏾

Thanks for the feedback and support Christopher, the production quality will only get better as the project grows!
