A personal VLOG channel about me, Tristan!
This is a place where I will share my opinions about things, my hobbies, passions and my journey in fitness
I am an Insulin Dependent Type 1 Diabetic who in 2015 decided to stop letting the world tell me what I could and couldn't do, and instead find out on my own.
In 2016 I completed three Spartan Trifecta's on two continents including being part of the Australian team at the Hawaii Trifecta Weekend.
In January 2017 I decided I needed a new challenge so I set my sights on the world of Triathlon, a significant challenge as at that point I could not and had never learnt to ride a bicycle. So join me as I journey towards my first Triathlon and my first Half-Ironman here and on Instagram and Strava!

The Tristan Files - VLOG # 158 - Virtual Race Report!
So I buckled and I followed the Virtual Race trend and signed up for Ironman's Championship VR series!
This is the race report from race 2 (and a bit of race 1) both Olympic distance simulations.
I am an insulin dependant Type 1 Diabetic who got tired of letting people and the world tell me what I could and could not do. So after some spectacular disasters in my life, I decided to take back control of my life and start finding what those limits really were on my own.
I'm opinionated, crass and more than a little bit bitter, but I want to show you that you can find your own path, so join me as I discover mine.

Hi Tris. As a former Cat owner myself I sympathise with you over trying to rent a property. Especially since in the vast majority of cases it is the horrible humans who cause unbelievable damage to properties, NOT their pets!
