Multiverse Astronomer
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 20 ม.ค. 2019
Multiverse Astronomer was born out of curiosity!
Why is there something rather than nothing?
If we and our smartphones are made up of same elements then, Are we cousins?
Surprisingly most of these fundamental questions fall under our field of work - Theoretical Physics. When asked about his secret of intelligence, Sir Albert Einstein said that, 'I have no special talent, I'm just passionately curious'
Multiverse Astronomer will requote this as 'We've no special talent, we just want YOU to be passionately curious'

But how did iron kill that star? Supernova!
In the fiery hearts of stars, elements are forged through the incredible process of nuclear fusion. Hydrogen fuses into helium, and over millions of years, this chain reaction creates heavier and heavier elements like carbon, oxygen, and silicon. But when a star begins producing iron in its core, its fate is sealed. Unlike its predecessors, iron cannot release energy through fusion; instead, it becomes the star's downfall.
When a massive star exhausts its fuel and can no longer sustain the outward pressure needed to counter gravity, it collapses under its own weight. This dramatic implosion triggers a supernova explosion-one of the most powerful events in the universe. During this explosion, the intense heat and energy allow for the creation of even heavier elements like gold and uranium, scattering them across the cosmos.
Iron is both the star-maker and the star-killer, a paradoxical element that signifies the end of one celestial cycle and the beginning of countless others. These cosmic remnants seed the universe, giving rise to planets, life, and everything we know. This is the story of iron, gold, and the stars that died to bring them into existence.

But iron is the ash of a supernova, isn't it?
Iron is the last element which forms in core of collapsing stars.
And also dipoles does not follow inverse square law. They vary by 1/r³
