alway felt like I missed out on something special by not playing splatoon 1's story mode, finally got to play it by emulating it on my laptop, and well, it was splatoon so it was awesome, and calamari inkantation got me too excited for some reason

This is nostalgic af. I didn't play 2 or 3, but I played the literal heck out of this game. I have so many fond memories of this game on my own and with former friends. It truly was a different part of my life, one that's gone to time, but still treasured in my heart <3

I HONESTLY cannot believe that online functionality shut down half a year ago. This game. This game right here was the very first splatoon game I played. We got it probably a few months after it came out and my first fest was art and science. Man were those the good times. I miss you, splatoon 1.
