Waste collection, law enforcement, and an aviation fanatic.
I generally do not make any videos and have taken most of the old ones down, I simply use this channel to upload clips!
I've recently put all my former Firestone/Ridgeway videos in a publicized playlist. You may view them there.

Waste Management | Tuesday Routes in Fort Worth
On the hunt to discover where WM's Amrep is being assigned, I finally decided to grab some video from the several neighborhoods in my area. It is really unfortunate WM had enough of Knight Waste Services (KWS) and took them off the contract, and it makes me seriously regret not filming Knight's fleet when I had the chance. At the very least, I'm glad I was able to witness KWS demo the Roto Pac back in 2017.
As I commented on Andrew's video, all of the 40 Sidewinders they had are no longer parked at Knight's yard. I drove down to WM's yard (which is like.. two blocks from KWS) and identified some white rentals and WM livery Pythons. I also spotted the Amrep in question and 3 white ACX ASLs which without a doubt are (former) KWS Sidewinders. For some reason, the WM yard also features a white Mack Rapid Rail and a WM-branded Mack CSL which will probably never be used (?).
In regards to the video, all 5 trucks were within blocks of each other. I spoke with one of the operators of the Python about it, and as I imagined, they were not a fan of it. It would seem however that WM, countrywide, is becoming more interested in the Python than before - I'm just glad there's more diversity to this yard as they simply have so many ZRs.

Lo and behold, a Californian Amrep assigned to this normal Knight Waste Services route! Knight Waste Services is GONE! Would have got more footage if I didn't forget to clear space on my phone.. As of 1/21/25, the routing assigned to the Amrep has changed.
Most of the remaining Knight sidewinders are at the Republic Lewisville yard, at least that’s what a helper told me
I figured, there wasn't enough room for all 30 of those trucks in WM's yard. Might just have to head out there and catch one final glimpse of them.
@ idk how true this is but apparently the owner is trying to get them started back up and they want Carrolton as one of their contracts if they start back
Nice job catching all the rentals they have. Definitely wanna spend more time out that way in the future, didn’t know all the other trucks they had when I was there. The reason you’re seeing so many Pythons countrywide is cause WM decided to stop doing business with McNeilus after they partnered with Republic and Oshkosh to make their new electric ZR. WM switched almost completely to Heil
Pretty interesting that WM went down that route but I guess the efficiency costs of the Python was negligible to them. Is there a reason why WM stopped with Amrep too?
Funny enough, me and a few other enthusiasts were out there last week hunting for them. They have at least 2 from Moreno Valley. I think WM was waiting on DOT info to start using the others officially. Super glad you caught this one!
how do they bring it here they just drive it or tow truck
Great catch. I believe this is an ex WM North San Diego County truck since they have/had ACX Amrep Side Loaders with CNG tanks mounted on the side instead of the body
Love it!
