As someone who loves frikadeller (the meatball), the version with chicken is absolutely not traditionally danish. I never had one made of chicked in my life, and never saw it for sale either. They are always made from pork or half pork/half cow. The other version is with fish. But never chicken.

As a hungry student visiting France, I remember looking around Tours to find a takeaway one evening and could only find somewhere that sold pizzas. Thinking that it was a pizza place in the UK, I ordered a Pizza called "Mediterranean" But I really didn't like it because it had these chewy fishy salty chunks on it which I found out later were Calamari. I wouldn't eat it now anyway knowing what I know about the intelligence of these marvellous creatures.

Yeah, not much money in the pocket back then, and that was some expensive Italian pizzeria not a cheap fast food outlet. But the look of distain on the face of the waitress, when I didn't eat the pizza and didn't give her a tip, was priceless.😃😄🤣

Its not legal. And apparently has been put to a temporarily end. 20 years ago Christinia sold weed and it was natinally recognized and somewhat accepted. Then came all the foreign street gangs and took over and it got violent. Killings etc. It used to be "legal". The immigrant gangs ruined it. Also. Why does the thumbnail say "an african react..." youre clearly english.

Interesting background on Christiania that I really didn't know.... Living in the UK, it was intriguing to see but it all appeared very "hippie" & peaceful.
