    It is also the reason why researchers are turning to stem cell and primary cells to use alternative testing systems to see the drug effects on humans. It is much better than testing it on animals and produce consistent reproducible results in human tests as well.

      Chips like this can potentially reduce the need for drugs trials in humans/animals or allow drugs to be more safely developed. If you’re worried about these organs undergoing pain, it could be possible to make ‘em without nerves that send pain signals.
