The new Modernized version of the Class A CDL has you inspecting the sliding fifth wheel assembly area. Just wanted to show the difference between my fifth wheel which is affixed.

The new Modernized version of the Class A CDL inspection includes the tandems. The tandems are the rear trailer axles. This video goes over a older model trailer with a release arm. You'll push out the release arm located in the front of the sliding tandem to have pins retract.

@@francoaltimo5038 you can't chalk your wheels with the transmission. You have to put your transmission in neutral.
