Post apocalyptic western? Trigun, The Book of Eli... I mean it's a genre that exists. For rpgs I could mention Deadlands, and Legacy: Life Among the Ruins. It's not unknown.

What happens to the dice in the dice pool if you don't use them? Just because you roll them ahead of time doesn't mean that they are good. In other words do the dice count against you at the end of the game if they aren't used?

A question: Do you feel this is a game of skill, where we will get better and better at trying to win, as we learn how the game works? Or is it the kind of game that throws lots of unexpected stuff at us players, and the fun lies in trying to deal with the current situation? Thanks, - toby

Fun little behind the scenes. First time using a script and my phone as a teleprompter. But still had 3 or 4 retakes because of minor rewrites. And the first one you could tell I was reading. I went with a script because I wanted to make sure I covered everything I wanted to. Usually, I forget some things in the first few takes. I went with me live in the bottom 3rd, as it allows me to do close-ups and stills of various game elements. Plus, Ryan had an art card in the box that screamed to be a background. But unfortunately, my green screen was lost during the Hurricane, so I went with a blue sheet. Figuring it'd be just as easy to remove in editing. BUT, it filmed as more Blue-Gray and when I adjusted the Chroma Key, it removed my beard too. 🤣 So I had to leave it in and shrink the area down to look better.

When you are getting your butt kicked in Darklight, remember the second part of the game's name - Memento mori (Latin for 'remember that you [have to] die' ). The designer has stated on the forums that he only expects 1% of parties to make it to 10th level. It's about the journey to see how far you can get before you gloriously die! I say, have fun and take as many with you as possible!!
