Digital was an improvement for my location because Analogue pictures were badly ghosted on all channels.

The Wrekin is my transmitter and analogue was such a good quality from there.

The very last S4C transmitter DID have a minor ceremony. Alas not most of the rest. BBC 1 and 2 Wales and Northern Ireland also had minor ceremonies, and BBC 1 London at least had an announcement. I think they at least tried to make BBC 1 in each region close at the end of a programme.

Hello! I have an Onkyo -405 R. Its filters are 280 khz (Murata MA5). Due to this reasno, I have some problems with some adjacent stations. Is it ok to change with 180 kHz ( Murata MS3)? Thank you!

This was received from the Kopaonik transmitter, the only transmitter in Serbia that used VHF-I. The other Yugoslav VHF-I transmitters were: Kum (Slovenia, also E3, broadcast RTV Ljubljana 1), Psunj (Croatia, E4, broadcast RTV Zagreb 1, later on HRT 1) and Pelister (Macedonia, E4, broadcast RTV Skopje). The Kopaonik transmitter was struck down during the 1999 bombing raids. Eventually RTS 1 would start airing from a UHF channel, making E reception nigh-impossible.
