I just picked mine up today, planning to save back for another set of wheels and tires. But overall i plan to do the metal gear swap and put portals on it for alittle more clearance. I think first things gonna be new curved linkage arms.

Got one for 25 bucks on an Amazon return store. Ecu/receiver is fried so I ordered one. Hope it fixes the problem. That center portion that everything plugs into gets really hot to the point the wires were melting. Hope the motors are not causing the issue we will see.

Great info! Some of the best content on TRX4 diy and free mods I’ve found. I’ve lowered mine, even trimming the bottom of the mounts to lower the back even more. Trimmed all around to make the wheels not rub, and took off the accessories. This reduced the overall weight by a ton. I also took out the wheel well covers, and the fenders guards, stripping the top to just the shell, and cut out the windows. Planning to install clear plastic windows instead for aesthetics. Thanks to your video I’m going to trim my wheels tread pattern and flip those bumper mounts like you showed. Can’t wait to run it after that! Still running the full size battery, but I’ll see if there is any mods I can do to possibly relocate it. Thanks again for the content! You’ve earned my sub 🤟

Why didn't you put it as low as you had planned you cut the extra space did something else become a problem like tire rub or something

I have so many sets of tires from swampers to Tusks to j Concept Holds to Ruptures and many more but don’t have terrain like that in Georgia so I have yet to find my favorite tire. I just switch back and forth everyday.

My Beautiful Bride surprised me with one, to go with my other 45 cars, apparently after seeing me flip one over at the LHS, and she thought that she saw me drool or something. Roughly 7 years now and I’ve run it about that many times. Lug this tank around to run it for an hour -OR- take a couple 1/10 SCT’s and run them for 4-5 hours?

I like the losi mini t for indoor, carport racing. Yet fast enough brushless to take to the sparking lots

I set mine up backwards basically so it's a forward cab but with all the stock XC-1 parts and some brass axles , it handles much better than my friends with this configuration.

The best transmitter is the RC6GS and its vast array if receiver options. Blows the gt5 out of the water. The new dumbo DDF-350m also looks like a contender to dethrone the spectrum junk
