Preventative maintenance to avoid calving season deaths has always been on top of our priority list. Even though we have been putting this job off for a few years now, it's became a necessity now that we've had multiple months of limited rainfall and the forage is starting to run out. This particular section we've never grazed before due to several reasons, lack of secure fencing, old barb fences being an entanglement concern and limited access to livestock water. Now with these concerns having been dealt with, it has opened up an additional 20 acres for grazing when we really need it. Thank you for watching.
