Honestly this Memphis Wrestling appearance was a little strange but Jerry Lawler did a lot of weird stuff in the late 70’s, early 80’s

Thanks for the kind words, we also have a lot of toy shows around but as you can see way more comic conventions. We love to hear about the collecting scene in other parts of the US and would love to head down to Texas one of these days. How is the prices at TX cons?

@@Collectorsconfessions I'm in Iowa. The dollar book boxes aren't nearly as good as your in NY.

@@Collectorsconfessions There are not alot of dollar bins at these conventions, mostly $2 bins, but there are 2 shops now who have $1 bins. Being Dallas I think the comic con prices are higher. The toy shows do have 1 to 2 comic vendors. I am usually hitting the toy shows to get Green Lantern or other DC action figures.

@Corundum_Rolls here we are definitely seeing prices decline and in recent shows we have come across .50 bins which we hadn’t seen for a while.

Weird World really has a D&D feel to it. Artwork looks similar in tone and design

They did a great job with it, the art is very unique

They don’t have any new stuff just back issues at discounted prices and older toys and collectibles. Lots of $1 bins and Hal off sales often

@Collectorsconfessions I'm brand new but I've always had a couple comic stores in my local town. In my early twenties I had no real knowledge on the hobby I just used to go in with my paycheck and pick up what I liked the look of and hunt in the £1 bins. On just returning I wanted to pick up on a series from #1 so I can read along in real time and stumbled firstly upon deadpool wolverine which were the comics I used to buy the most over ten years ago so picked up those and subscribed. Also my fav is batman and noticed a new batman series 'absolute batman' so have subscribed to that also. Bit upset I missed out on the first print #1 and am hoping I can get it for a good price at some point because I can't really afford it right now. Read the first issue of it and really really enjoyed the fresh take in this alternate universe, especially with the joker being the billionaire at the end. Really looking forward to reading this monthly.

It’s the whole graded watchman series. Also don’t like slabbed don’t own one ever will, but they have a place in the hobby. I could definitely make a lengthy list of comics I have asked for a got a strange look. Hulk 141 for a long time no one had it

@@Collectorsconfessions My bad on that (Watchmen). I own one slabbed book only because it was the only time I've been in the presence of a copy of Conan 1 and I wasn't gonna leave without it. I'll have to sub to your channel now, I dig it.

@Matty-Jets no worries think the price of slabbed books is insane. I’ve been looking for an FF #1 and have only seen slabs, no raw. As a collector slabbed books to me are against all that is pure in the hobby .

That is a great way to look at it, here at Collectors Confessions we have a differing of opinions. Some of us only buy physical while others embrace digital. I guess to each his own.

It’s one of those things that just never seems to end, no matter how much you get there is still more

Love to hear from long time collectors like us, we don’t sell which I think most long time collectors don’t. We almost went to the last Wildwood one but it was far and the weather wasn’t to great. This weekend we are heading down to Winterfest. What’s the main focus of your collection right now, as you can tell trying to finish Fantastic Four right now which may be a fools errand. @Collectorsconfessions no just godzilla from there I imported it built back to calgary from San Diego! ! He got destroyed when we moved out of that area .I never found the wolfman phantom or the bride the witch was amazing details for a model kit

@Collectorsconfessions I havent seen a glow kits since I got king kong. The dinosaurs then got built I had most of them too but t rex and t tops dimetredon I lost all that along with the star wars set of cards and my star wars puzzles

@ibisrox1 isn’t it funny that all long time collectors have a story about losing some of their collection at some point.

Mego is great! Loved them when I was a kid and loving the new line now. They bring back so many memories of playing as a kid!
