Why do the drum sticks change from black to normal in between shots? 2 takes??

Appetite for Destruction and the Use Your Illusions taught me to play drums. We had an electric kit at my highschool and i popped in a gnr album and tried to play along. Now i know all the gnr songs inside and out.

ok so I watched lots of drum and bass videos in the last 10 years and nver understood what it is about, here I saw that each snare drum note got accompanied presisely on tone (timing simultanously playind every note) by the bass player. I do not wanna say that now I checked it totally but my puzzle leads to become completed about the energy between bass and drums :-) Thx for solving a big part of the mistery. We lost our bassist in 2020 where I had the honour of neing the singer for 12 songs. he once showed me the bass playing of AC/DC at work after opening his cupboard where there was a complete hifi system :-)

Actually it's interesting because Matt basically play Steven Adler drum grooves for Locomotive and few other YUI tracks. There was a session called Mates Rehearsals from 1989 where they played Don't Damn me, Locomotive, Garden of Eden and Dust N' Bones. It was mainly intrumental session so it was only Steven/Izzy/Duff/Slash, Duff also sings on Dust N'Bones on that session So yeah Locomotive isn't really Matt stuff 😅

Here reporting from Argentina, from the end of the world. Magnificent interpretation friends. Duff's tone is exactly the same and the drums are a Swiss watch in their accuracy and neatness. Please keep doing this because for those of us who love Guns N Roses it is a gift that we greatly appreciate. I know they must have many songs already on the agenda but I have never seen or heard anyone do Garden Of Eden in this format. I send you a big hug and keep up the good work!
