Hi, I am Amber Gustafson. I grew up in rural Adair County, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State. I now live in Ankeny, Iowa and I am a graduate student at Drake University. I have worked in higher education and issues-based advocacy for nearly a decade and I am a member of the boards of three Iowa non-profits. In 2018, I ran against the Senate Majority Leader in a Republican district and came less than 1000 votes away from winning. Since then I have continued to speak out about the ways in which fascist neo-liberal policies are harming this great state and the people I love and care about.
