    Poor review. These are not the top of the line unloaders, no. But they are made good enough to unload 2000 lbs. of material if installed properly and you don't have a sprayed in bed liner (they have too much resistance to the fabric to slide out easily) A plastic bed liner really helps with these! That extra strap is not to hold it down while you're traveling. It's to hold your tailgate from trying to lift while you're cranking your load off. Read the manual.

  • @PainterD54
    @PainterD54 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If you want all the material to slide out, you need to nail or screw a board to the end of the tarp to catch the end of the pile. That's the first thing I did to mine before I even used it. I could just imagine how the tarp would just slide out from under what was in the bed, like yours did.

    I was able to get that bolt on two different x300s with a thin 14mm. It’s also smaller than the 17mm 6 bolts? I noticed it after seeing this video. Also you can tap it with a chisel by making a nick and then angling it to loosen. It is short enough to come off. The real kicker was the three bolts in the transfercase and engine mount of the 4wd and the 4 bolts to the engine on the 2wd. Not sure if I can even use the 4wd block on the 2wd but maybe 2 bolts till I fix the broke connecting rod on the 2wd 2001 which was rebuilt but def had an issue seizing number 2. The one I’m parting was wrecked as my daily driver and the trans finally just blew up. Coming out the top I took off down to the heads and left the ax and steering loose to the side. Plenty room to pull it and very lite. The parts car I used a jack and cut the front frame off. Can’t do pic? Best wishes!

    Hello sir, i HAVE A LEXUS RX300 2001, I may want to ask you, the spark plug boot wore out but the problem is , the boot got cut almost in the middle where I can't get it out no matter what. the part where the hardest part of the plastic siezed inside. I lubricated it , tap it with long screw driver, I drilled it . but it won't even moved. I'm stucked. What is your suggestion to solve this? Please help. your Avid fan Joe. I'm not a mechanic but I was able to remove the the plenum , and etc. I don't eve know the names. and the problem is the # 3 spark plug . Please help. Thank you in Advance.

    On the RX350, if you have to replace the head gasket, do you have to drop the engine? I’ve had people advise it’s cheaper to just replace the motor on that RX350.

    you are not poor... you are saving money and creating life long experience. I was poor...( poor, btw, is a relative term based on your perception of the world around you) just like you starting out and my father always told me when I was growing up, for what you might shell out to have things done for you, you can by the tool needed to get the job done and either keep money in your pocket and or break even. Plus now you have that tool for the rest of your life to use again and save even more money down the road. Great tutorial and self guide video. Thank you.

    The biggest issue is that marine ssb uses channels that are specific frequency . The radios must not interfere with other channels. I think even one of the most popular marine ssb radios the icom ic -m802 was removed from the market because it exceeded bandwidth . This created a huge problem that I was just about the only available ssb that includes a DSC . Ham radios are still used abord Cruising boats without adverse consequences . One thing to consider is that if you race your boat and win some other racer could get you disqualified for not having proper equipment.

  • @Fredengle

    Hi Matt got a question to you is would you say when possible that my insulated screw drivers should also be wrapped in electrical tape for addtional protection? ps My question is I need to switch an outlet plate if it is wired correctly and I used my electricians screwdriver on a live outlet should this be a dummies fix? ( unfortunately I think I cannot cut the power ) thoughts please thank you )

    • @matthewszostek1819
      @matthewszostek1819 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can and should always cut the power. Open the main to your property and use a flashlight to see. Make sure it's dead with a meter before you touch bare conductor. Every part of your tool needs 2 layers of electrical tape but you won't need it because the power will be off. You can put on 9mm nitrile gloves and it will help. I did it as a pro and 120 couldn't get through. If it tears tho... But you won't need any of that because the power will be off. If you are scared call a professional. If you don't know what you are doing call a professional. It's not worth your life. I've been hit by 120v so many times it doesn't scare me.

    I don't exactly know what kind of boat you have though if you could use a 10m for emergency skip use. You can find a "CB" shop to get an export 10m radio and have them peak it but not tune it a band down.

  • @KageShi
    @KageShi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I came here hoping for an answer that was well higher level than you went into here. I am wondering about the MarinePhone channels in setting them up to act as one station or the other by default. I would be using a set of radios for both land and water usage and won't exactly be dedicated and was wondering the easiest way to go about it aside from reversing the input/output with offset overrides.

    What would happen if the extra part you have in the front of the bed had a pipe attached to it that layed on the bed rail? Then it would stay curled up and ride on the bed rail. There would be no way it could slip out from under the load. Thoughts?
