I understand your concern about the way children's education is been handled these days, but at the same time I don't think that a religious education is the way forward. Children will be better prepared for life if taught good manners, good behaviour, towards their family members, neighbours, school friends, everybody, regardless of their religion, nationality, ethnicity, etc. Children should be educated to be good students at school, generous, compassionate, ready to give a hand to others. They should learn the value of honesty, sincerity, friendship, kindness, hard work. Culturally, they should be exposed to good literature, music, the Arts in general. They should be educated to love Nature, the environment, our flora and fauna, the Universe, develop an interest in learning, curiosity and a desire to always do better, progress. All of this because the parents are guiding them, first alone, later with the collaboration of school teachers. Making them believe in god, telling them all those educational ideas are from him, that they are his 'orders', if the child doesn't obey, they will be punished and when then die god will make them burn eternally in hell, will NOT make them better, more successful or happier human beings. Of course children can be told about the two main possibilities of our existence; 1) an ever existing and endless (in time and space) Universe, changing, evolving permanently and 2) the theory of a Creational god. This should be part of a Universal education and children, as they grow and learn to think for themselves, can choose what seems more logical to them.

Human Rights is a farce, following on the heels of the Liberty, Fraternity, Equality ruse the French used to take Allah out of public life; the separation of church and state, which even plagues the Muslim masses the world over. And now we see this one just win a court case demanding public shame through financial penalties for a town and a mayor who refused to fly their flag and declare June the month for homosexual indoctrination on our children against our will. May Allah instill terror in both of their their collective hearts for trying to change what Allah has created, and claiming we are not human; that only they have the right to that identity. One might even go so far as to wonder if these two groups were a fraternité.
