Amazing video !! I planned from LA to Chicago but I met some of my friends and my favorite professor in University of Utah. Finished the trip two days ago. Took a stop for 20 - 30 min for every 3 hours and finally done in about 12 hours. This is my first time a long drive and I was tired so took rest for 2 days and have to start from Salt Lake City. Still long way to go to Chicago !! Wish me luck

That exit from the city is the most convoluted array of roads and exits that i have ever seen....as a midwesterner, I would have a nervous breakdown.

Wow, people pay tolls to drive up there?! What's so special about it? I've driven on plenty of mountain roads like that one, in my home region and in the Alps, and I never paid a single cent in tolls, so $35 just for car and driver sounds like a major rip off... and it's not even fully paved! lol

Replying from Korea. Thanks for good video. At a first glance, I mistook your video as simulation or gaming scene. It seems that your videos were 'filtered' in a specific manner like blurred objects, cars, etc. Did you do it on purpose?

When I reached America in 2017 I hired a range rover to cover between these two cities. Love this route.

My first visit to the petrified forest was in 1963 I was 10 yrs old. No paved paths and a whole lot more trees.

I have made this trip many times but Las Vegas was a city along the way. My destination was Utah. The first time I made this trip was in 1992. There were fewer freeways and no Interstates. I travel east on US 66 to San Bernardo where we ran into US 91. 91 and 66 traveled together to Barstow. We started out on US 66 but we were told to go back to 91 and use that highway. We went through Las Vegas and continued north. About 124 miles north was St. George Utah. We continued north until we reached our destination, Brigham City Utah. After a two week visit we returned to Los Angeles. Years later US 66 was replaced by I-40 and US 91 was decommissioned south of Brigham City.

What routes did you take?

Arizona is gorgeous for a state. Sad to hear it’s facing drought and a water shortage as I recently have heard.

Hard to imagine how there was a gigantic conifer forest here... especially now that it's so desolate... but when I went to Arizona I saw exploded petrified tree debris everywhere all over the forest floors.... this event that caused all the petrification happened very recently 😳
