Engineering Portfolio Workshop presented online by FIRST Nevada on January 4th, 2025 for the FIRST Tech Challenge 2024-2025 INTO THE DEEP season.
DESCRIPTION
The Engineering Portfolio is a short and concise summary of a team’s engineering journey from kickoff to competition. It’s also a requirement for many judged FIRST Tech Challenge awards.
An effective Engineering Portfolio demonstrates a team’s use of the engineering design process through the use of sketches, discussions, and reflection of goals set and met during the season.
This workshop reviews the requirements for an Engineering Portfolio, as described in the Competition Manual (Section 6.1 Rule A101). Through the use of examples, and shared best practices, teams will also learn how to create an engaging Engineering Portfolio that will wow the judges.
