This video walks you through how to replace the positive and negative battery cables on a 4th generation F-body Camaro or Firebird/Trans Am. Jeep Wrangler JK Transmission Pan Replacement
มุมมอง 7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
A common issue on Jeep JK's is a Transmission Pan that rusts and begins to leak. This video walks you through the steps required to remove and replace the Transmission Plan. While this process in itself is not difficult, there are challenges due to the design which results in a high risk of bolts snapping. Normally I would say this is a beginner to intermediate difficulty level, with the additi...

Does the ECM have to relearn the system again once the terminals are disconnected?
It would of been nice if you could of shown your work
I'm just curious how this battery has done for the last year ... did it end up being the right capacity for the auto start-stop system? Is it still working a year later? Thank you.
The background noise is nuts....roadrace turned up fullblast.....great vid otherwise
Think this is exactly what’s wrong with mine.. belts are all fine but blades are intermittent. Here we go
Great video. I’m sure that was a lot of work to make it. I watched it many times. Thanks. I agree that it’s a great compliment to the directions. A few of my notes. It’s very easy to over tighten the tiny M3 machine screws and you can do damage doing so, esp. to the plastic cable pockets doing so. I saw it start to happen and backed off. In section 11 - step 1, I started to see the fabric of the top start to twist up around the screw and backed-off. He mentions it here: th-cam.com/video/PQWOoqZiI6Y/w-d-xo.html. I am a habitual over-tightener, like my father before me. I didn’t need silicone. Section 1 / Step 1 - Rear Bow Mount Brackets: The video doesn’t include a walkthrough of installing the rear bow mount brackets. He mentions it here: th-cam.com/video/PQWOoqZiI6Y/w-d-xo.html The instructions say to make sure the press-in nut has the ridged side facing the rubber tube, which is valid. I found I also had to pre-thread the nut to the screw a couple of turns before putting it in the hole in the rear downtube. I was unable to thread the screw into the nut while it was in the hole. Section 12 - Attach Bow Flap to Rear Bow here: th-cam.com/video/PQWOoqZiI6Y/w-d-xo.html Note that he is inside the Jeep looking out the back window. Initially, I found the directions very confusing in this step. Video was key for me here.
Lmao I have demolished the hook and I still can't get it out.
Great video! I had to bend up some of the lower clips on my new one slightly so everything would fit. It still wouldn't stay in place, then I realized when you release the window back so it's against the felt, the pressure from the window is part of what holds the felt in place. The new one is holding great!
Thanks for the video! I had already installed mine a few days ago but was just watching to make sure I did everything right. I also had 2 screws left over. Don’t know what they are for. I guess just extras
Thanks man. About to do this same thing and you have some great hints and helps!
Great video! Like the Camaro I have a 70.
Thank you for making this video! Took me about 8 hours going carefully and rewatching everything you did multiple times along the way. I've also never removed a trim panel (or an infotainment unit) in my life, so that's probably why it took me forever. At the end of the day, nothing was damaged, no extra pieces were left over and the new screen works perfectly. Thanks again!
Do you know what size screw holds the soundbar grills on?
Yooo why’d u skip getting the left terminal out?! 😫 I’m having trouble getting mine off!!
Part number for the long bolts starter would’ve been helpful
We have a 2015 XTS and my buddy shop told me that it would be $1,608.00 to fix rear shocks. I will be doing them myself, is what i told my wife
Can you please post where you bought them at and a part number
Any luck with getting the info? Mines need to be changed badly 😭
This is the perfect video for replacing the touchscreen on a Cadillac XTS😬 Thanks for making it.
5:50 on 3/2/24. If not for your video, I would have paid someone to do it. Only issue was the clip. I struggled with it. Thank you.
Did this solve your starter clicking problem?
Nice video, so calm and confident! a couple things, i read that the calipar bracket bolts are supposed to be one time use only, did you ever see any issues with using the old ones? Also, any squeks or noise after driving for a while? Have you bled the brakes ever? and is this an automatic or manual?
How do you take them off can you show please u skipped that part
Which everlast battery from Walmart will fit in my 2012 Chevy Cruze ?
Video is suppose to be about Changing the starter. We don't need your life story. Quit trying to drag out your videos.
What if the car is dead how do u pop the trunk
Everything that could happen did, what a job eh. Nice work
I'm inspired to pay a pro now 😅
Thats the wrong size battery I believe. The bigger one is big for a reason. It's due to the automatic shut off it needs the bigger battery according to the dealer.going out to replace my gfs right now. I asked my the hell it was so big for a small car and that's what they told me anyways. Thanks for the video
Yep, definitely the wrong battery. The cruze comes with smaller batt if you get a manual trans without the start/stop system. Using a small battery with the start stop system it will make the battery fail sooner. Could even find yourself in traffic with a car that won't start back up. Also, is the replacement and AGM? The factory battery is an AGM with a vent tube due to it being in passenger compartment.
Awesome video thanks
This was a life saver , thank you so much . Don’t know if could have done it without your guidance . Thanks again
Appreciate the video bro ! When disconnecting a battery the negative terminal should always be removed 1st When reconnecting the terminals the positive terminal should be installed 1st Doing it this way will eliminate any potential sparking from your wrench hitting any metal 0:49 and any sparking from the terminal touching the battery post.
OMG, you are so helpful. My sister and I were able to replace the thermostat housing on my 2008. Chrysler Sebring 2.4 l. It has a 164000 miles. And I know you just help me go a little further. Thank you so much. I appreciate your video.
Most felts the clips are destroyed taking them apart if you have issues with them coming up put a little dab of window urethane or equivalent
Je peut avoir ces commentaires en français ?
Could have ran some clean oil through kinda put the bolt in while dirty oil was still draining maybe have more patience
I just bought 6.5 kickers for the bar.. opened the box to my surprise, they are supposed to be 6.75 ughhh... i dont want to go back to best buy.. looking for ideas here
Im so grateful that you have put this video up. Like everyone else GM should at least given out the screen's. After studying the others video yours came on top. Wow how grateful I'm. THANK YOU!!!
After watching about 10 or more videos, this was the best one I found. Very Detailed. Thank you!!!
Thank you
Very helpful video. Thanks for posting. The Bestop site should link to your video instead of theirs.
Spent 1 HR 45 min on replacement great video saved $$$ over cad dealer😊
I'm about to buy a Chevrolet Cruze 2016 1.4 Ls. ¿Do you guys really recomend it? ¿Is is a good option? I just want it to be my daily work car. Please answer
Honestly don’t do it I have this car and it’s been nothing but problems mechanic told me their is nothing worse then a used Chevy Cruze especially 2016
I’ve had my 2016 LS for awhile now and it’s a good car to me.
Screen is hooked up in my 2015 correctly as per this video and for some reason it's not reading my touch
can you please tell me the number for this part, I have the same lawn mower, and can you tell me where did you order your part, I did call a toro dealer and they could not help me, thank you
Thanks for the video
What temperature is the lower thermostat l?
What size wrench do you use on the stock bleeder valve?
8mm
Very helpful video! Any way you could fix the camera movement for a better visual for Future videos?
Ok.. so this is a replacement video, but honestly .. when will anything actually be shown to explain the process? it’s only ok.. here is how you in bolt it.. and did not show the process at all.. I’m sure people want to see the removal and the installation.. not just the outline.. if it’s a simple easy process , why not show the boys coming out and the shock being pulled out.. and put back in.. not just to say.. reverse the process and you’re done.. not to mention the 1st step.. safety.. make sure the pressure is held when I’m holding so the shock don’t shoot down and break a bone.. no help
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work on a GM. If you want more comprehensive videos, look at 1A Auto.
@@PatientXero607 we’ll it’s not about science or rockets .. you’re right.. but on a diy video.. content is the key.. cmon.. knowledge is the only reason we watch.. cause we all know we’re not shooting for entertainment here.. geeez!
