If you can't recover in this time, wait till heart rate is ~120-130 before beginning next rep. Keep your form smooth, if you're tightening up, or your form is breaking down, slow...

    Why do you need a special adapter to loosen the oil filter housing? The edge of the housing looks like the bottom of any other oil filter/oil filter housing. Can't you just use a size matching universal oil filter adapter that hooks up directly to a ratchet?

    Thanks, great video!. Will help me do the same on my 2014. But gees, it makes me shudder watching you working under that car without jack stands. Not a good idea to rely on the floor jack, especially the economy brand you are using. There is no space under that car, so if it comes down you will be in a world of hurt. Best.

    to Ryan Clark, your right. This the ols addage that a newly drafted QB can solve all of the teams problems regardless to what they really are and the team is now ready to go win the next twenty Super Bowls. No, the team needs to go solve the problems that they have first and then go after a Quarterback second to last then go get weapons for him to throw to. But then again, that is all they do today. And every single one of them are rarely worth the hype that is put on them. Let me see a Qb that can dominate a game by throwing three or four yards at a time. No, it is not exciting but it wins games without help from the refs. Unlike someone who has more rings than Thanos.

    Is there an alignment tube that needed to be put back on the top of the filter element that meets oil with the opening in the motor? Looks like the brass piece is sitting on the cardboard in the background at the 4:36 mark but you make no reference to it or show you re-attaching it. I would think that would be needed to keep the center of the filter aligned with the opening in the engine block. Yes or no?

      BornToBeFamed I believe you’re talking about the wrench to remove the oil filter, correct? If so, you can try but I don’t think it’ll have enough grip to loosen it. The oil filter wrench is only ~$10, well worth the investment if you plan on maintaining your own car.

    I have the same exact car. How you able to average 24.8 mpg? I've tried everything and stuck at 20 mpg. I know it's only 4 extra miles but every little bit counts.

    • @jagswire1012
      @jagswire1012 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      jrthomas040 honestly 24.8mpg is rare. I only get that when I’m doing fwy only driving for long periods (~1hr or more). I’ve gotten as high as 27-28mpg but I typically average 22 during normal driving (60% fwy, 40% city). Driving modes don’t affect mpg too much, but your right foot will. One of the biggest factors besides traffic, terrain (hills, etc..) and your right foot is tire pressure. Just maintain the car well and you should be able to get the most out of it. Hope that answers your question.

    • @fatboynip
      @fatboynip 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Damn 20. You must have a heavy foot. On my 30mi drive to work I can average 28 (90% freeway). On the way home ill average 22-24. Never in a rush to work, always in a rush to get home 😂. Per tank I’ll average 21-22. About *320mi* per tank. I’m about 70% freeway per tank. In the city with a heavy foot I’ll average. 18-20. The few mpg difference sure makes a difference. For me it’s an extra day or two of driving I don’t need to fill. And I never wait for the gas light to come on. It usually would come on in another half a gallon. I’m very ocd about my mpg. I wish I wasn’t lol.

    • @petejuarezjr
      @petejuarezjr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You must have a heavy foot. I average about 23/24 mpg and that's driving mostly 70/75 mph. I mostly use the cruse control on the freeway and don't take off like a mad man in the city. Drive normal in the city, you must drive like my son and then complain that he gets bad gas mileage. The hurry up and to catch up and slow down really takes a toll on your car and mpg.
