@@MattSoah Do you break it down by parts of the song or instrument?

changes with each remake. but i usually try to do the melody first or the bass line and then drums. the parts i try to remake are the hook or part that has most of what’s used across the whole song, call it “the main beat” i guess.

i first cut out the part i wanted to sample then at the top left of the clip i clicked the little sound wave icon and made it a unique sample. after that i double clicked the sound/sample clip and at the time stretching section i dragged the "time" radial circle up until it snapped into time (4 bars). i hope this made sense ahaha i should show it more often.

@MattSoah lastly when you do this do you like mess with the pitch sound radial circle or does it like mess up the time stretch
