My Ceika Affiliate Link (for coilovers and big brake kits): ceika-store.com/sethbingo Apologies for the artifacting, some of the videos got massively compressed from Facebook. I used an upscaler to make it at least somewhat more viewable. Hopefully you will still be able to enjoy the sounds! P.S. None of these cars or clips are owned by me. 2003 Honda Civic (Ex)No Crank No Start (still getting power)
มุมมอง 93K5 ปีที่แล้ว
My Ceika Affiliate Link (for coilovers and big brake kits): ceika-store.com/sethbingo My car wouldn't start for some unknown reason. After checking all relays and fuses, I found a plastic tip near the clutch pedal. I realized that it engages the clutch position safety switch when you push in the clutch and was preventing my car from starting. I hope this helped you out. Part # 74015 Dorman prod...
Why does the first one sound like RB26? That's awesome!
I did NOT expect such a beautiful sounding car..reminds me of a skyline
My man! My exact problem. Been trying to figure it out this morning! Thankyou for your help!!
Where do I get a part for this mines broken off
I'm having the same issue but mine is an automatic
but mine is automatic
Mine too, any ideas on how to resolve the issue?
Thank you man. This worked. Thank you my friend.
MAMBO DISCO DANGO YOU GOT TO JIVE (RUH UH) MAMBO (UH AH) LIMBO (RUH UH) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣✨✨✨✨

crystal memories
why does the video fit perfectly to mambo nr5 ^^
I FUCKING LOVE TAKANAKA
What is it called I found one in my civic but it’s an automatic so idk where to put it
mhh yes, that certainly are FREAKING BANGERS!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS A BAD MASAYOSHI TAKANAKA SONG?????? I Thank you verily for this video
U saved my ass ❤🎉🎉🎉 thank u
2000 Honda Civic EX (5 speed). Those 2 taps are brand new, Two switched tested good. Can crank but won't turn over. Anyone knows the problems or fixes? Notes: 1. Battery is brand new 2. Starter/Complete Engine overhauled with new Spark Plugs/Cable, Timing Belt Kit/Belts 3. Daughter says it ran fine all day & in the morning it has power. And can crank the starter/flywheel, but won't start (running)
Thanks for this. Mine showed a steady Check Engine light. Using a jumper on the ODB1 was no help (no flashing). All the guidance said that means it's a bad ECU! I ruled out the started with a remote starter and it started right up. Found your video and it works exactly the same on my 1993 Civic Si. As I reached up inside the dash the "nipple" end of the bumper fell into my hand. Excellent, $4 part rather than a rebuilt ECU that would not have fixed the issue.
Anyone know the exhaust in the clip from 1:00
So I went to the dealership to get both the button for the top and bottom switch since both had broken. They were ridiculously priced at $8 a piece, but on my 2003 Civic I was able to pop them both in without removing the assembly.
Bro same issue but I have automatic 2003 civic there is no clutch pedel
Ok, so how do you fix it? This just happened to me. The car's been starting fine and the dash was lit up so I knew it wasn't the battery and highly doubted it was the starter. So showing the fix would be good, but this was still a big help.
This only apply to 5 speed. You would have to remove the whole clutch unit assy out. Reply with your email address here is you need more help.
@@angelisone I got both switches for the clutch at the Honda dealer and was able to snap them in without taking the clutch unit out. Cost me $17 for both. I had a feeling the way it was behaving it was something like this, but didn't know exactly what so this got me quickly pointed in the right direction. Thanks.
@@michaelsanders9147 Those two push button switches are not cheap. I think you are referring 2 rubber tabs. In the future, if you can't start the engine: Disconnect the Top Switch Plug & paper clip short/jump the plug.
@@angelisone Yeah, I misspoke. I replaced the pieces that actually broke, not the whole switch. I did use the paperclip. That's how I got it to start to get to the dealer.
Thanks for making this video, after watching, I went out to my civic and found that rubber piece on my floor mat. Saved me a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong. I would have replaced my starter for no reason! Thanks again!
After chasing my no crank/start problem all over…I saw this video. I paused at about 1:48 to look at/around my clutch…BINGO!!! Pieces of that plastic part on my floor right under clutch pedal. Now I finally have an anti theft system… no one would figure out holding that button while turning the key..🤣🤣🤣 Great job on the video man!! You saved the day…wish I saw it 2 1/2 days ago. lol. 🤙✌️ 👍👍
hahaha, glad it helped
I have an automatic and the key has been stuck in it for awhile and it has power but won't crank HELP ME
Please please please
I can't help sorry :((
Thanks for that man! First time happening to me today on my 03 civic. I used gorilla glue and a penny. Starts right up!! First fix under $5 😂
Could you tell me what he’s pointing at lol
@@frzgzvalorant197plastic piece, the part number is in the description as well
Sucks that they were all autos. Yeah you could swap it but that takes time and money
ask any person who's done the swap and they will say it was 100% worth it, a shame yeah but they are fun cars for sure
I guarantee it's a blast having a flat 6 scream at 7k going down the road. One of my top 3 favorites from Japan in the 90s
@@austinsuman4090 my favorite is around 3k rpm lol, always fun
@@sethbingo funny thing is I only looked up this video because I forgot how good they sounded and a buddy of mine sent me a link to one for sale and I thought about picking it up
Hello so today I have had the same problem. a week before I had this problem I already changed the started and have a new battery. No it's cranks and cat don't start all fuses and relays are good any idea what it might be. It started everytime until this happened to my clutch.
not sure, check the plastic piece like I mentioned!
Quality meme, my friend!
OHHHH MY GOD!! THANK YOU. YOU SERIOUSLY JUST SAVED MY LIFE…a new starter later, and thanks to you!!
glad it helped!
i had an SVX like the car but couldn't afford to feed and maintain it.. also no possible way to get the boxer growl out the EG33.
They definitely aren't cheap to own, ask any long time owner how much they've dumped into their svx and be amazed
PEAK MENTIONED! PEAK ALERT ‼️ PEAK JAPANESE ARTIST 🧑🎨 TAKANAKA FOR PRESIDENCY 🎉🎉🎉
Very good indeed sir
Truth my friend!!
TAKANAKA MENTIONED🔥🔥🔥WTF IS A BAD SONG🎇🎇🎇🎇 CERTIFIABLE PEAK HAS BEEN MENTIONED🎆🎆🎆🎆
Yes indeed Takanaka is gold
One does not simply Takanaka
yes nice
I love Lucy haha.
This SVX has the cayman 4.0 flat 6 sounds character.
My god you’ve saved me
God that such a beautiful car.
Do you have to have that kind of torque wrench to install them back?
It's not completely necessary, but it's important to ensure they are properly tightened down like the service manual suggests.
its looks like usb ‐c😂
the exhaust shape? Kind of, at least the stock exhaust tips lol
I love this car so much
me too :))
This Video just save me alot of time money, Thank You Very Much!
So that little piece of plastic that looks like it broke off the peddle is supposed to push a switch or activate something? Kinda wild. You still driving this civic?
Yeah it pushes the clutch position safety switch. I don't have this civic anymore unfortunately :(
Mine is doing the same thing but it’s an automatic, what could it be?
Hard to know. I always check the battery first, followed by the air filter, and so on. Spark, Fuel, and Air create combustion. If something is wrong with one of them the car will not start.
How about automatic

Sounds like a Porsche 911
Yeah! That iconic boxer sound...
Thank you. Your video just saved a friend a lot of time and frustration.
You're welcome 🙂
