Africa Foundation in partnership with &Beyond and TechnoServe funded by Ford Foundation.
The CBLP program includes a phased program to leverage procurement opportunities for rural communities in the tourism industry - & Beyond Lodges in Phinda, Sabi-Sands and Ngala - as well as other lodges and businesses. The program will aim to strengthen the local economies of these communities in three phases that starts with assessment of the opportunities and challenges and thereafter a pilot bringing a small group of entrepreneurs into the current supply chains.
The ilot will be up-scaled in April 2013 during a 3 year period building on the pilot and growing the program significantly increasing the beneficiation.
