How To Use the Polaroid SX 70 // take better & sharper photos
มุมมอง 3.5K4 ปีที่แล้ว
✌🏻Please consider following me on Instagram! charly.tv/instagram Hey! In todays video I'm going to tell you how to use the Polariod SX-70 and how to take better photos with it. 00:00 Intro 00:15 Opening the camera 01:54 Buttons 03:53 How to hold the camera 05:00 How to focus 06:09 How to take good & sharp photos Background music by Benmusic.
Couple of corrections: open the camera by gripping the top finder section by the serrated part and pull up in one snap/quick operation. Doing what you showed could result in damaging the finder. The film speed of sx70 colour or bw film is 160iso/asa. 600 and I-type film is 640ios/asa and will not work correctly in unmodified sx70s. Early sx70s did not have the split prism circle to help with focus. This was added later after some users complained with problems focusing. Polaroid have good advice using vintage cameras and careering for film on their website.
Just had the thought to replace the skins on my original SX-70s to look more like new, and found your channel. Thanks for the advice. =D= from USA!
Glad I could help!
That's what I do too when opening it as well, push back gently on the front piece until you hear a click. Better than taking a chance on breaking something. Of course some users will not agree on that point.
Thank you, the video is very helpful 😊
I'm so glad!
Thank you! The information on how to use the focus saved my photos! Thank you immensely!
Lovely to hear that!
So messed up I thought the black white exposure was the appeture not the shutter now it makes sense
Glad to have helped!
Great video! However opening the camera is really even easier than what you show. It’s meant to be opened in one swift motion, gripping the back portion of the viewfinder cap and pulling up until it locks into place. I know that some people say that it feels like you’re going to break it, but in reality that’s not something you should worry about.
Great video mate and really good production with the titles, music, etc. Keep it up, you really deserve more attention!
Thank you for these very kind words! I think in a couple of months I'll have enought time again to upload regularly and hopefully am able to put out more content!
Some fantastic tips!
Glad it was helpful!
This is a great video man!
Glad you liked it!
