Kids from Jemez High in New Mexico perform a Zuni/Comanche dance at SWAIA Indian Market 2024. This is a social dance, not a ceremonial dance, which is why it can be filmed. Pueblos borrowed dances from each other with regularity to perform at social events. This is the kind of thing you see all day long at Santa Fe Indian Market each August and part of the reason why it's my favorite art event.

Meskwaki Nation's Larry Yazzi performed this Eagle Dance at the 2024 SWAIA Indian Market. To the Meskwaki, the eagle is the highest bird and a messenger to Creator. This is the kind of thing you'll see all weekend around the Plaza when attending Santa Fe Indian Market. Amazing!

This video has such a good message about the conservation of elephants. The elephant figures are beautifully created. They look so much like actual elephants marching proudly along in their large herd. It is good that this exhibit will be traveling to many locations so that people can see the value of elephants and how it is possible to co-exist with them.

Do we able to animals near the camp ? I’m planning for four days trip !
On my visit, hippos were walking through the trees close enough to my tent for me to hear at night. You'll see a wide variety of animals from the tent patio. Hope you can make it there.

There are snakes all across Africa, unfortunately, I didn't see any on my visit. The guides and all staff do an outstanding job preventing any unwanted animal-visitor interactions if you're concerned about that.
