What you meant to say, I think, is Alice was the first to break. In late 1990 I heard man in the box on the radio and immediately went out to buy facelift on my lunch break. It made so much music irrelevant. That song and that album was the real start of grunge imo

Great interview man. When you asked Mike if he had a crazy fan story it made me remember an EHG show back in like 1998 or 99. They were playing a show in New Orleans. They went into 'Sabbath Jam' and some dude from the crowd got up on stage, grabbed the mic and started singing. Mike IX had a piece of glass or something and cut the dudes forhead. There was blood everywhere! I think Mike ended up going to jail that night. Talk about punk rock 💀
