It is sad to hear about your experience. If it is in warranty then kindly get it solved by SAMSUNG service centre. If they defy you then write an email to samsung about your experience. It may help you to get a solution.

I was keen to wall mount my sound bar today, but the box did not contain all components of the wall mounting kit, waiting on Samsung to follow up. Of course this would have to happen on a Saturday.

I have a relatively smaller living room 18ft *13ft (rectangular).will it be an overkill with this setup ..and lets say i dont want to disturb the neighbours(i live in kind of a 3 storey independent house with tenants in top and bottom floor to be exact) with high volume/db 😅.......... will the bass and other dolby atmos effects be still good in lower volumes..thanks in advance
It is okay to have it with your room size. No issue at all. The higher side of the volume may disturb the neighbours. Lower volume also produces the best quality sound to get the Atmos effect. For night use it has a special night mode function in which the bass level gets automatically lower. It ensures low disturbance to others.

Samsung didn’t bring or invented Dolby. Dolby Atmos is a surround sound technology developed by Dolby Laboratories and it’s provide to Samsung, Lg and Sony
Yes, same as communicated in video. Dolby developed the technology. Samsung is the first company to bring Atmos technology in a soundbar.
Cant get rear speakers set up
Samsung doesn't provide rear speaker wall mounting brackets. Need to purchase separately
@VinChann I meant yo say can't get the speakers to pair with the sound bar I fixed it blown away with this sound bar coming for 5.12 Dolby atmosphere paradigm set up with a yamaha rxv6a set.up
Surround speakers can be paired directly on phone ? To use them independently ? Thanks!
All speakers can be run on the phone via bluetooth. You cannot use only rear speakers independently with your phone. The soundbar is essential to connect.

You need to purchase a separate wall mounting stand for rear satellite speakers. Yes, they go directly to the 230v socket.

What about the woofer level to be kept in q990c?
Every person has their different views on woofer. Some like more bass, some like balanced and some none. I prefer it on the +2 level. Q990c has the balanced bass setting. You may keep it as per your wish.

Setting depends on what type of music you like. You may set it as per your wish in the smart thing app (as remote give less options). I may suggest you to keep bass setting on +2 level.

Yes but for tv use. I didn't find it good for mobile music over the soundbar via bluetooth.

Do you have ceiling fan in the room? If yes then how does the atmos bouce back effect from the ceiling sounds when the fan is on? Does it have any effect good or bad or non for atmos bouce back eith ceiling fan on?
Yes I have. There is no problem of sound distortion when fan is ON. But if your fan is noisy then only you can't hear crystal clear sound due to noise.
Do you use any media player to stream loseless dolby atmos in the soundbar?
No need of media player. Your content should be of high quality to get best results.
Brother i went for the demo of samsung q990c the sound from it was harsh when i increase the sound above 40 and the sound was not softer, is there any settings to change it? Or is the samsung q990c sound profile only is harsher?
It may be due to content quality you are watching. Old movies/song do not provide Dolby Atmos sound. I am suggesting you to visit Amazon Prime. No need to subscribe it for watching free trailers. 1) Top gun maverick 2) Pathaan 3) Smile 4) Babylon 5) The Northman 6) Minions: The rise of gru 7) M3GAN 8) Scream Play these movie trailers on your TV and check quality of soundbar. If still you feel the same then kindly go for samsung service.

Yes, it delivers true Dolby Atmos sound. You need right content to experience it. Old movies or songs are not capable to give proper sound.

Soundbar q 990B aur q 990 B me kya antar hai
Nothing. Only space difference between 990 and B.
Does anyone know how to increase mid-bass sounds? Mine only has low atmospheric rumbles, but lacks any umphh for things happening on screen. All my inputs go directly into the bar itself. Movies on Netflix (premium) and music on Spotify, all seem boring because it lacks anything above the sub-bass rumble.
Download Smart Thing app of Samsung. You will find more settings to adjust sound output. Also first check TV setting for sound output. If you still face the issue, contact support team.
@@VinChann Will do! And yes, settings that somewhat help are: lowering -3 on all the center, side, wide, front top; EQ bass +3 or +4, treble +2, woofer +3, all sound enhancements off, surround mode for everything (but standard for music/Spotify/stereo), speakers in the front setup. I'm going to reach out to Samsung about it. Lowering the front bar allows me to turn the volume up to 18 comfortably. Increasing any settings either makes it too loud or just creates more environmental rumble (not the punchy mid-bass)
@@VinChann Update: half of my issues are sort of resolved... I guess when you adjust the EQ Bass setting, it automatically adjusts the "Woofer" setting by the same steps (not such a bright idea there!). So when I set the woofer to +3, then upped the EQ Bass to +4... you guessed it, the woofer was unknowingly maxed out at +6! And booming! Subsequently lowering the EQ bass to -3 would also move the woofer to -3 (very lacking in everything). Realizing this didn't solve everything, but it helped slightly. Still going to play around with settings and call Samsung for help later this week.

You can find wall mount rear speaker stand on e-commerce websites. I purchased it on Amazon at Rs.799. Just find a good deal. Before purchasing, make sure it is suitable for SAMSUNG.
@@VinChann Thanks brother. One more thing I have to confirm is how much your TV is protruding from the wall surface. Mine is almost 3.5 inches protruding, will it block the upward firing speakers of the soundbar if we wall mount it? I guess the upward firing speakers are slightly tilted so there shall not be any issues. Still want to confirm before the technician comes for installation.
@@arm7080 My TV is almost 2.5 inches away from the wall. Yours is 3.5 inch. After installation your soundbar will be slightly tited to 10° (automatically). I think no issue you will face. You may go for it.

It is One Connect Box of my samsung tv. All connections on TV are here. No wire is connected to TV display (except one invisible fibre optic cable).

Can you possibly post which screws you used for drilling onto the wall? and anything else, Except for what comes with the wall mount kit
While installation, the technician used a wall mount kit which was provided in the box. It was only for the main soundbar. Samsung does not provide wall mount assembly for rear satellite speakers. I bought it separately from Amazon website.
Yes,mine came with the soundbar wallmount kit but not the screws. He likely had his own screws. Cant figure out which screws to get. @@VinChann

Q90B have intermittent rear left speaker disconnection issue…. Does this also have this issue ?
Many people found connection issues in the Q990B model. I purchased Q990C for which SAMSUNG claim connectivity issues have been rectified and no further issue present. Till date I haven't experienced connectivity issues of Soundbar components with each other.
