So, where exactly was this fire camp? I had a cabin up near Warm Lake during all of this (the fire came within 100 yards of burning it down). Was this at the fire camp down just barely outside of Cascade? Or was this the fire camp up in that open meadow literally just a few miles from Warm Lake itself?

So I was a little 'under the influence' during this show and when he played this particular song, a military helicopter did a 'fly by' so people in the crowd turned around to see what was going on. There is a heavy military presence in the area and I do not remember ever being at a show here and experiencing this. You can hear the noise the helicopter made during this song. I thought it was pretty rude and it should be 'outlawed' by the local authorities. But anyway, I thought the timing of the 'fly by' was pretty significant. I was thinking of at least 2 U.S. presidents who tried to warn us of the 'military industrial' complex. And when Bob sings the words 'there's something happening here, but you don't what it is' , it reminded me of the 'military industrial' complex and the Zionist agenda which controls U.S. politics. . . Maybe the pilot of the helicopter was a huge Dylan fan or maybe he/she just thought it would be fun to do a 'fly by' . Whichever the case, it led to some deep thought on top of Bobby's lyrics. Maybe Bob himself requested the 'fly by'. Maybe I'll never know.

Great audio quality, Bob's voice was understandable, a bonus for sure.

Eeek, puppy during the day!

i just stumbled on a band called "The Starving Artists" and a couple people in the comments were talking about their memories of that little local scene and all the bands they use to love going to see and they named like 4 or 5 other bands, so just out of curiosity i was looking them up and this is one of them. its sort of strange to me how good this sounds, they were basically just some local nobody band somewhere and in 87 they recorded this one single album on some small label and the production and sound are so good. another band they named "The Waxing Poetics" also have some really good sparkly guitar sounding releases. i was totally expecting this to be a cover of the Velvet Underground song.

Did I hear a couple of miscues in that song on the bass? Sounds like the bass player may have almost hit the wrong note, or string, but caught himself. I'm not a musician so I couldn't say for sure, but it just sounded like a couple times the base player almost made a mistake. I've been a solid fan of this band since 1968, and I've seen them 44 times in concert. I don't think that I've ever heard a mistake by Tull ever so this would be kind of surprising, and a let down, after the perfect run they've had as far as I'm concerned, but nevertheless I'm a true Tull fan to the end. Jethro Tull, the greatest band of all time.

Everybody there is grey haired and / or balding. Not like when I saw Tull in the '70s.

I never could understand how a genius as Ian Anderson has fallen in this poor level , and is it not for his flute which still outstanding, it is for the members he selected to accompany him , his ego conducted him to fire the old members as M Barre , D Perry , A Giddings and J Noyce, Pay attention in this video how the members of this band play, it seems a cartoon. Please Ian don’t dirty the name of Jethro Tull any more.

This piece of music is attributed to King Henry VIII (the one who enjoyed killing his wives) and is called Pastime with Good Company (there are lyrics, too, but Tull always play the instrumental version). Jethro Tull recorded it in the late 1970s under the title King Henry's Madrigal. They played it live at that time, but the studio version was first released in 1988 on the 20 Years of Jethro Tull anniversary box set (as far as I remember).

I know Tull fans have low expectations these days, but how low can you actually go ? Awful.
