Great video, all your videos are very interesting to pet lovers. I suppose it varies but how long do you let Daisy have a free run of the house? Because they're pooing machines lol.😅

@@paulhill8331 I’m glad you are enjoying the videos! I like to think they are educational as well as entertaining. These birds are extremely rare as pets in the Western world so they give people an insight into the species. Daisy has her own large room within my house. She also has a huge bird cage within that room where she goes to eat, drink & relax when we leave the house, for her safety. She can fly around in the cage too. She also sleeps in it at night. She gets LOTS of exercise. She’s always ready for bed in the evening before we are 😂

She wouldn’t pick it up…she’s too polite 😃

I assure you it is. And again, birds don't have a 'voice'. They mimic sounds, and the Mynah is one of the best at it, like the Liar Bird.

@@kshr-h7uMynah birds are renowned for being the most human sounding. If you have never seen a mynah bird before then I can understand why you are skeptical. This is definitely not trickery.

@@Daisy_Fantayzee2020 I listened to it again a few more times and it COULD pass for "petal" but it still really sounds like "a**hole" to me. We have no idea what or who "petal" is..... or at least I don't since I've never been to your channel before watching this..... so "petal" is definitely not an automatic response the brain jumps to in trying to figure out what she's saying. Maybe putting more captions could help.

I can’t say a price because that would depend on where in the world you bought one from. They are expensive in UK because they are so rare here. If you are going to buy one though you must be prepared for the commitment. They need a special diet and lots of attention. You can’t leave them alone for hours on end unless you get two. 🐦‍⬛

I didn’t know that was happening. That is so sad. I had no idea Mynahs lived in Qatar because that’s not where they originate from. I have now discovered they were imported there (as pets no doubt). Unfortunately some have been released into the wild and reproduced and now started threatening the habitat of the native birds. It’s the Common Mynah in Qatar (not the same type as Daisy). The Common Mynah has been introduced to a few countries around the world where it is not native to and have caused lots of problems to the native ecosystem and are now classed as invasive. I don’t agree with culling the birds, it’s not their fault but I don’t agree with owners releasing their pets into the wild or with non native species of any bird or animal being introduced to a different country. It’s never a good idea. Grey squirrels were introduced from USA to UK and they have almost wiped out the UK red squirrel population. www.enature.qa/specie/mynah-common/
