Rather than looking at high-level statistics or input-output correlations, mechanistic interpretability researchers aim to open the “black box” of a model by analyzing the precise internal structures (e.g., neurons, attention heads, weights) and the computations they perform. I don't think he's focusing on the exact hours. His main point is that, more than finding the most efficient way to learn, it's the time and effort you put in that really matters.

Very true, anything not falsifiable is not able to be scientific in its true nature. I think he is just saying to be pragmatic and get out and start building.

I can't be a help at getting a job in Turkey but we are always looking for top engineering talent at slashdev.io I would say build out a really strong portfolio. Usually web fullstack is more in demand than Data Structures skills.
