From Blender to Fallout 4: Basic Constructible Objects
In this detailed tutorial, we’ll guide you through the entire process of creating constructible objects in Fallout 4, starting with your model in Blender and finishing in the Creation Kit. - Fallout 4 Creation Kit - Steam
- Elrich Optimizer - Comes with Fallout 4
- Creating the Table in the Creation Kit:
- Duplicate the Federalist coffee table.
- Assign a new ID and display name.
- Assign your custom model and adjust the preview transform to fit.
- Setting Up the Constructible Object:
- Navigate to items - constructible object and create a new entry.
- Use the prefix "co_" followed by your custom object name.
- Assign your object, set the workbench type to "Settlement," and configure sounds.
- Add the appropriate recipe filter e.g., furniture tables.
- Add required components e.g., wood for crafting.
- Testing in the Game:
- Save your plugin and test your new object in Fallout 4.
- Navigate to the workshop, find your object, and ensure it can be crafted and scrapped.

    Using the latest version ''Nifskope 2.0 10.1'' but i am missing on the FO4 materials in the shape section, i only have sky (skyrim) mats and some unknown with numbers. Do skyrim mats work in FO4? Or does anyone know a path to implement the right materials? Super Tut btw...very appreciated Edit: ahhh Fallout 4 Updated XML should do the trick,... but where to put it?? there is no description on Git Got it...I just threw it into the nifskope folder... worked, perfect... thx

    I tried this method, but it kept crashing outfit studio after i sanitized the nif. Then ran the nif through elric. With it showing that it was green lit ready to go. So idk what i'm doing wrong here.

    these are good little tutorials thank you. however i have a problem, the collision part. when selecting import in nifskope i only have import.obj. I have no option to import obj has collision. have i done something incorrect in blender or nifsckope? I will be grateful for your help.

      I am in the process of moving and my PC is being shipped from Florida to the midwest, I will be better equiped to help in a week or two, but make sure you have your files to be converted in the right directory. If this doesn't help, let me know.

    thanks to your guidance, I have put a big pizza oven in the game, and 6 pizza's, , 2 pizza boxes, one open one closed. Really want to make the pizza oven a new work bench with character animations, but are animations for FO4 even possible with blender?

      I believe so, I am in the process of moving and remodeling, once I get set back up, I plan to get into animations and animated objects.

    Exactly what I needed, very precise and to the point, great stuff! I'm sure someone with a million subscribers would be like "they need a better mic and more editing" to which I say this brought exactly what I needed where million-plus-sub creators waste entire 12-minute videos introducing the very concept of what they claim to eventually explain, only to skip over the step by step details and throw in an ad for good measure. This, on the other hand, is what content online was meant to be, please don't stop making this stuff and please don't go to shit <3
