Pope built a roster that has multiple lineups for each need. You can expect there will be no set starting lineup, that will depend on the opponent..if they play a team with physicality,,he will probably put out a lineup like Butler Otega Oweh Jaxson Robinson Carr Amari Williams If he wants to out out more shooting he would out out a lineup like Kerr Krissa Colin Chandler Kobe Brea Carr/ansly Garrison/carr I think you're spot on Brandon about everything. He could do so many different things, Jaxson Robinson and kobe Brea both were 6th men last year, so id leave it up to them, if im coach im letting the team figure out who is doing what. And go from there.

When you got a whole roster of guys who've made their living as primary role players and most of em not being the man on their previous teams and yet...average over 10 points a game? That means everyone on this team is that guy who can be "the man", on any given night. And, as to you starting both our potential point guards at the same stupid time? Really, Cal'ron? That's cal and moron. Get em both in foul trouble, and you're suddenly playing freshmen. Duh. Don't quit your day job, chief. Amari and Carr are penciled in as starters, I'd assume. Either one of Butler or Krissa at the point is also same to assume, as a starter, as well. That leaves the 2 and the 3 spot wide open I'd think. You starting Krissa and Butler sucks. I'd try and hope I could start chandler at the 2 by seasons start. Infusing some much needed youth. Inject some of the youth we have already, right off the bat, into that starting 5. Leaving either one of our only 2 proven guys who can play the position point guard, to sub, as a point guards. Giving us lots of options at the 3 spot. Who starts? We're loaded at this spot. Got multiple pieces to employ. Center and power forward we're set. Not many choices to go to. It's at the 3 that coach will be mindful. Robinson or Brea starting? Be nice to have the known luxury of bringing one of em off that bench for sure fire production. Maybe both? Off the bench? Who's at that 3, then, if robinson and Brea are both coming off the bench? 16 points per game man, that's who. Almonor at the 3. Leaving Oteh, Brea and Robinson and Brandon as primary subs. Summer should be fun, yes?

Why you sit and try n compare Cal and Pope's styles much less teams is beyond me. You Ramsey have been calvinized throughout the years. He has put you and a generation of others in his square and outdated box and you guys can't seem to manage to escape it's hold on you. Cal never realized you can only have one leader at a time. Anything other than that is an undivided house. And, a divided house will not stand. You can't follow 2 masters. Cal never understood this basic concept. This strategy. A lot of modern day coaches to this day have still not quite understood it's importance either. How many straws do you use when you use one? Ever tried using 2or 3, at a time? Defeats it's importance of funneling, singularly, all efforts and energies thru just one flow. Point guard is usually the tip of the blade. Historically speaking. But in today's game, it's no longer a pound the ball, take your man to the hole, one guy vs their defense. Now it's about moving, cutting. Moving the ball? Creating space off the dribble to either get a closer look or, kick it out, drill the open 3. In these types of offenses a good turnover to assist ratio us about all that is required beside the requisite hit open looks when they're offered your occasional way. Ball movement on offense combined with a heavy handed perimeter defense= number 9, baby! Coach has got this.

To heck with both Lanier and Robinson, at this point. We got 11 to roll with. Who are on board mentally and financially. Patience. There will be a couple kids who'll reclass up at end of summer. 5 star studs. I'd take them over a one year wonder or a perennual 6th man who both have been given an over inflated value of their own self worths, due to " the portal". Let's roll the dice and wait on a couple of 5 star stud dogs to fall in our lap. Mix in some 5 star power, young blood on this team. It's fun and exciting thinking about the possibility of adding a couple, late. Pope's got the dope, to pull it off. He's clever. Smart, too. Watch him.

Do you really believe Pope can land any of these top guys? This is Pope's first year at UK and some say Pope is not a proven Coach at a school like UK. Until Pope has a winning year it will be tough on Pope to land these big time players?

I have heard that Robinson would come play for Pope if Lanier didn't sigh, according to Jack at KSR? IF THIS IS TRUE THEN WE ARE REDEEMED.

This was a big time fail. I believe not landing the number one shooting guard in the portal. makes us look second best, and Tenn just beat us. I also believe this looks bad on Pope. Unless they are planning on picking up Robinson then we are good.

What Bruce Pearl has done at Auburn is nothing short of amazing...This was one of the worst Power 5 jobs when Pearl took over, and has created a basketball mad fanbase with one of the toughest environments in the country...That will be an awful tough game for UK when they go to Auburn
