Mob heads do actually have an use. They reduce the aggro range of the same type of mob. Sneaking does slightly too, but when combined, you can greatly reduce the aggro range of one type of mob. *Edit: Watching further, you do mention this with the Creeper head 😄

(in bedrock) one can wear a skeleton head/skull and will not show up on a locator map, i use this for raiding and pvp on a private world with friends. i do not know if it work in java or if it works with other mob heads.

I have a theory about villages and things like abandoned mineshafts, ancient cities, etc. So far every village I've come across in my world has had at least one of those somewhere under it. So far it's been two abandoned mineshafts and two ancient cities. I think there is some kind of connection.

1. In the room before the portal room the ceiling is 6 blocks tall rather than 5 blocks tall 2. Bro got an extra hunger bar point 3. Pressure plate instead of button 4. There’s normally not a hallway before portal room (but that could be nit pick) 5. Painting on the wall 6. Redstone torch on wall 7. The left lava pool has tuff brick instead of stone brick 8. The bars on the sides of the portal room are missing 9. Instead of monster spawner there’s a trial spawner 10. The trial spawner got a chicken instead of silver fish 11. The end portal got 4 more portal frames than it’s supposed to 12. HE FILLS THE PORTAL FRAMES WITH ENDER PEARLS 13. Bro should have teleported to each of the portal frames 14. The portal shouldn’t open because of the extra portal frames 15. Bro goes to the nether instead of the end 16. When bro goes to the nether there’s a random piece of glow stone in between soul sand 17. The nether portal is missing two obsidian blocks

As you noted, the hard part is getting enough dripstone. You can get dripstone from a wandering trader once in a while. You need a minimum of five pointed dripstone to start a very slow dripstone farm, by crafting a single dripstone block from four pointed dripstone. Then the one remaining pointed dripstone can be placed under the one dripstone block to generate more pointed dripstone. When there are five more pointed dripstone, the "farm" can be doubled in size. This a very slow but accelerating process.

This is also a good use of gravel in case you have more gravel than you can use (for, e.g., concrete production or decoration) and if you want to stretch your dirt supply. You can first turn two dirt and two gravel into four coarse dirt, which can be turned into mud by applying a water bottle, just like dirt. So it effectively converts gravel into dirt (and ultimately mud), saving half of the required dirt. (I know that dirt is often abundant, but I've found that, even though I have a lot of dirt, my need for the amount that I have is greater than the need I have for the gravel that I have. Also, some biomes don't have abundant dirt, but do have gravel.)

4:10 No need to worry about the adjacent grass once you've already changed the first row into mud. Doing this over or near water is clever. I wouldn't have thought of submerged dripstone for this, but it doesn't matter in the game.

Chunk base was the only way i found my base. Thank god for that website and thank you for showing it to me. I drowned trying to raid a ship wreck and i was far far away from my base and reset my respawn point to sleep through a night.. Thank you

with the new patch, since the chunk is loaded, when you die does the pearl despawn
