i cant even get past the bridge once u klil the boss, it just auto slows me down once i get near to the end of the bridge, start of it is fine running ok then its like iv come to the end of the screen and cant go any quicker, and i always die right before i get into the cave over the bridge

you were mislead... the way to unlock the leveling up is to gain at least ONE insight. you can SEE a boss (not a wolf) or you can find a Madman's Knowledge, and use it. there is one in the sewers, and there is one near some crows near a shortcut gate. Good luck..

Explore carefully for items and shortcuts. Master dodging, parrying, and attacking in combat. Talk to NPCs for information and help. Gain insight by defeating bosses or finding Madman's Knowledge. To check your insight, look at the eye icon at the top right. You need insight to awaken the Doll in Hunter's Dream and level up

slight lore correct; You aren't trying to awaken the Toa of Light - as per the lore in the comics/movies, the Toa of Light is more of an intermediate step (as they are simply the 7th Toa, which is needed to defeat Makuta) to awaken Mata-Nui (the deity); which in turn will save Mata-Nui (the island).
